I first met Jon standing in the kitchen of the home we were wanting to sell. He came prepared with a little binder of information and a plan. He did a very good job of explaining everything down to my level of understanding (which is about the 3rd grade level. lol.) We decided to list the home with Jon as our agent, but couldn't list right away because Jon recommended we fix a few small things, clean up, declutter, etc. It would be a month before we were ready to list again. By the time we did list, the market slipped a bit. We got very few showings, and none seem interested. We were in more of a specialty market anyway: Higher amount, very large house, in the country, on a dirt road, with a slow well, and we were late to the season. Lets face it, the house is good, not great. We spent months on the market, until the holiday season when I made the decision to take it off, with the plan to relist in the spring. During this time, many realtors attempted to snipe my business. But Jon was awesome so far, no reason to change. When spring rolled around, Jon came back out and we discussed our plan to list again. This time, I wanted the listing to include more info, like a floor plan and 3D tour, etc. ALL the things I appreciate in a listing when I'm shopping for a new house (which I was doing at this time too.) He made it happen. He got the right photographers, 3D guy, drone guy, you name it! But Jon didn't stop there. He noticed small things, like hot water heater straps were missing, missing carbon monoxide detectors missing, and foundation cracks. I knew about the cracks, just didn't want to spend the time or money to fix them, since they didn't bother me, and haven't moved in the last 10 years. Jon got the detectors, the straps, and even came out and repaired the cracks on his own dime and time! WHO DOES THAT?! Jon does. We got a few showings shortly after listing, and the first showing put in an offer shortly after. Jon was great! He was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and patient with me. Good thing I didn't get sniped by one of those other guys, because I am certain that Jon was the reason we sold. If I had to sum up my experience with Jon with one statement: Above and Beyond in everything....

Jon was very knowledgeable about the housing market and the local area. He had data and comps to back up his pricing and a great marketing plan to get it sold quickly. He was honest and forthright – no games. My stress levels were high as (all) my criteria to get the house ready needed to be met. Jon was not only a well organized realtor, he was also an excellent support system. He was wonderful at putting my mind at ease amidst my anxiety and relieving my stress. He set the wheels in motion to make sure I had what I needed to have my house in perfect showing condition, while spending the least amount of money to get the maximum amount of return from my investment. Jon was easy to reach and responsive to all my calls, texts and emails. He answered all my questions, big or small, at all times. He is a clear and strong communicator and made this process simple and easy to understand. I felt so informed every step of the way. He sent me an email that literally started out “Step by Step List”. I appreciated his patience and expertise, and his insight was extremely valuable. Not only is Jon professional and competent, he genuinely listened to the vision I had for selling my home. Jon had my best interest in mind, and with houses flying off the market he worked hard and negotiated the sale of my house beyond my dreams. Jon had an in depth understanding of the legal terms & conditions within each contract, and explained them in terms I could understand. Jon was an excellent agent. My expectations were surpassed. Jon was highly competent and skilled. It is rare to find the work ethic, character, competence and genuine passion for his work all in one person, and that’s what you get with Jon. Kim Hernandez was amazing. She is the perfect realtor for those looking to find their dream home. She was patient, attentive, thorough and very invested in our home buying process from start to finish. She got a feel for our style and what we were looking for, showed suggestions and went through so many homes with us, until we found the right one. We had our house selected within a week and closed within a month of our offer being accepted.
