One of the baddest experiences that I encounter till now. I have a BMW that I purchased in 2020 and immediately I purchased insurance for my tires, paid around $170. The other day due to the weather I hit an open sewage canal and my front tire got damaged. So I went to Discount Tires for a replacement. The gentleman that helped me told me I need to pay $47 to renew my insurance and he will order a new tire for me the next day. I went next day around 8am to drop the car/key for the replacement and my nightmare started with the manager AARON. He stated that the car will be service until I'll return around 4pm. I also asked him if they can rotate the tires that I never rotate yet (55k miles). He stated that they will do that. I came back around 2:30pm and find out that my car was not touched by anyone. I noticed that they were slammed with customers. I have to give them that. The Manager AARON was at the front desk helping customers and I couldn't speak with him at that time instead another coworker helped me. When I asked him what is going on he make me wait because he went to talk to his manager to find out. He came back and told me that they need 30 minutes to start and finish what it supposed to happen but didn't. His excuse was that they didn't receive the tire on time even the tire was ordered one day before. I asked him again to rotate the tires and he agreed. 30 minutes later he came back with the following response. "We changed the new tire and moved on to back but we couldn't rotate the passenger side due to the treats were too low(2" )and is against their policy." What shocked me was that my tires were never rotate and the treats should be equal on front and back, and they were able to rotate the tires on the driver side but not on the passenger side. So I ask him to provide me with the measurements. When he re measured the results came back with plus 3". He stated that "his eyes are not lying." I told him that I don't trust his eyes I trust the tool and request to talk to his manager. He explained to the manager what we find and AARON not only that he didn't apologize for those two lies, but he was asking me, the customer, what to do?! I reiterate that the other side should be rotate. Another 20 minutes pass and they brought my car back. I tipped the guy and left. I was so frustrated that I forgot to ask if the tire pressure was adjusted correctly! My care require 2 different pressure on the front and back. Find out next day when I went to Costco that the pressure was not recalibrate correctly. I did it by myself. I told AARON that I will report this to the company. I advise you to not let this happen again and hopefully AARON will...

I have been a loyal customer of Discount Tire for many years, always valuing their commitment to quality and the exceptional warranty they offered on their products. For $25, I could purchase a warranty that covered road hazard repairs for free, a hallmark of their service that ensured my continuous patronage. However, my recent experiences over the past two years have severely tarnished my opinion of a company I once held in high esteem.
While I was out of town, I had my uncle purchase a set of four new tires from Discount Tire for my car, anticipating the same seamless experience I had always enjoyed. To my dismay, this has marked the beginning of a series of frustrating and concerning encounters. Every time I brought in a tire for repair, instead of receiving the prompt and efficient service I was accustomed to, I was told the tire was irreparable and had to be replaced. Each replacement came with a hefty $70 bill to repurchase the warranty, a stark contrast to the $25 I was used to.
Having spent $1400 on a new set of tires, I find it unacceptable that I should have to incur additional costs so soon, especially considering the tires had only accumulated a few thousand miles. Shockingly, I have had to replace all four tires within this short span of time. Recently, I was informed that the Pirelli tires I had bought were discontinued due to weak sidewalls, requiring me to wait a week for a replacement. This revelation shattered my trust in the company, as I had expected to be sold only the highest quality, safest products.
To compound my frustration, the replacements I received appear to be different from the originals, possibly narrower, and likely the source of my ongoing issues. The mismatch not only undermines the aesthetic appeal of my vehicle but also raises serious safety concerns. I feel betrayed, having invested a significant amount of money only to receive subpar products and service.
Discount Tire has not only let me down but has also jeopardized my safety. The confidence I once had in their ability to provide reliable, high-quality tires has been completely eroded. I am left with a profound sense of disappointment and concern for my wellbeing on the road. As a lifelong customer, I never expected to be treated with such disregard, and I urge others to reconsider before placing their trust in a company that has evidently...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI researched tires for my car and driving preferences and called this store to purchase the set. Associate recommended a different tire and I deferred to his expertise. We set an appointment. A different associate was there when I arrived. All went quickly and professionally.
I had not noticed that my wheels were dinged, scuffed, and had grease fingerprints on all until I got back home and inspected. Drove to the airport and the tires weren't my preference, quiet ride was clearly conveyed as the primary. They're not four wheeler loud but even my old tires were quieter.
Called the store when I got back home and the associate seemed to understand and made clear we could figure a solution. I tend to be a neatnik and maintain and drive my cars so that they age gracefully. The car is a 13 year old Jaguar XJ8. It was brought to the store clean. The wheels are original and have standard aging and dings from time on the road but unless you got right up on them, the appearance is clean and new looking. After visiting this store, these wheels took a big hit on the gracefully aging part. Two of them scuff padded out pretty well. Two of them have inexplicable apparent air-wrench gouges which are pretty much there to stay.
When I returned to the store, as agreed, another associate was in place. Maybe I found the one person that couldn't seem to comprehend what I was trying to convey, which was that they might want to clean up their staffs' attention to detail, my wheels took a hit, and that the tires recommended aren't noise reduction primary. To be fair, on the plus side regarding the tires themselves, these things have sensational grip.
I arrived in good spirits with interest in what they might think about the scuffing, fingerprints, and road noise, prepared to leave with nothing more than saying my piece and maybe a drive so that they could hear the noise for themselves. The associate I came across seemed to be unable to hear or see the completely obvious and must have figured I don't know my own car. I left absolutely steaming.
This is not to say to not use the store, this is a cautionary. Remind them to take care of your equipment and be sure to document your before's...
