Had a disappointing experience at this salon yesterday. I found the salon on IG and was so impressed by the color I've seen by the stylists that I drove an hour to have my hair done there. Paige was my stylist and we were trying to fix a bad bayalage job which she did for the most part. The color is absolutely beautiful but unfortunately the toner/color wasn't left on long enough and there some tips of my hair towards the front on one side that were discolored. Maybe the product was left off those pieces entirely. Either way It was a super small mistake, but still a noticeable one and when I was discussing it with Paige another stylist named Kelsey came over and very rudely tried to ensure me there was nothing wrong. Literally barking at me "IT LOOKS FINE" without even taking a close look. Albeit a tiny mistake, it was definitely obvious and disappointing because I paid full price and drove far to have my hair done here. I booked another appt for Paige to fix this (which she made it seem like it would be a full price service and not a fix appt) , but honestly I have no desire to return to the salon because of Kelsey's rudeness. Paige was very sweet and the color really is pretty otherwise. I would of happily returned for future services.
For Kelsey, just a tip from someone who has worked in customer service, even if you don't agree with a client, you should still respect a client's concern. It was a mistake that would of taken less than 10 min to fix. Even the best techs make small mistakes but it's how you handle the situation that speaks the greastest volume of how much you actually care about your customers. Now I'm stuck staring at this discolored piece of hair everyday until I have the extra money and a babysitter so I can have this fixed. This really sucks. I'm going to post this review on yelp and fb as well so you can see pics.

Read moreI'm one of those people who goes to whoever is available so I don't have to wait a long time to get my hair done. Every time before this, I'd left the salon feeling pretty pleased/satisfied.
My last visit half a year ago was pleasant, so I requested the same stylist and booked my appointment (today). She ended up having to cancel because she'd be having her baby soon. So Tori kindly contacted me and asked if I'd be okay with her taking over my appointment; I had never had her before, but I said yes because I just didn't want to wait. I went in wanting a dramatic change, requesting a balayage and haircut. I wanted the blonde pieces to end in a lavender color toward the tips, and a brown color to contrast with the blonde. I showed several pictures to give her an idea of what I was wanting.
Long story short, I left feeling disappointed. And yes, I should have told her right then. But that kind of thing is very uncomfortable to do and I thought I'd been thorough in the communication of what I wanted. And the end result didn't resemble any of the pictures I'd shown. I didn't notice until I got home, but the lavender in my hair is very splotchy looking, and there are three distinct stripes of lavender on the back. The brown I was wanting is virtually non-existent. It's only a couple shades darker and warmer than the blonde I walked in with. While she was nice enough, it felt as though she wasn't super passionate about being there and the balayage process took way less time than any of the times I'd been in before. So what I'm saying is, it felt like I wasn't being given the high quality service that I'd come to expect from the salon. Kelsy is a very talented, knowledgeable individual. I love that her goal is to give you what you want but also ensuring your hair is strong and healthy, she isn’t a stylist that will fry and dry your hair just because you want it lightened you a certain level. She’ll take the time to explain the process and what needs to be done in order to maintain hair health and achieve your overall color goal unlike other salons I have visited.
