I'm so disappointed on all computer repair businesses in the area including this one. When you don't know a hint of computers you don't know if they are overcharging you or not. The good aspect of this place (pros) is they try to be fast. The cons are very inconvenient store hours. They "fixed" my pc only to find out a cable was hitting my gpu fan resulting in almost losing $500 on that part. Ask for a wifi/Bluetooth card install but they forgot to install the Bluetooth cable to the motherboard. There's more to the story but that will be venting. Computer repair shops definitely need more customers oversight. *Response to owner: I never called myself a computer genius or anything the like! I was humble all the time. In fact the the one that boasted about leaving things to professional was you and then did a half-baked job. You even told me you tried fixing it 3 times being unsuccessful until another employee did it for you. I did say not to install an OS as part of end product, & I never said don't diagnosed the PC using whatever method you deem so, like installing Windows to test it and then erase it before delivering it to me. And last, I am criticizing the place and the service quality because this is a review but I would not call it 'bad mouthing' as this is neither unfair or spiteful. In fact the one being spiteful and salty is you trying to humiliate me even here. If you don't always give 5-stars service then you'll get the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this store because of all the positive reviews and purchased a refurbished laptop. The laptop had various problems, which I discovered over a period of months. When I wanted to return it, the owner became furious and accused me of cheating him. This seemed way out of line for 100% positive reviews, so I Googled the positive reviews on his page, and many of them appear exactly the same and with earlier dates on other people's pages. You can do the same thing. Here are some sample below.
Last year, a review that begins like this is posted: "To work my advocacy, I RELY on my laptop. Last Saturday night, I put my laptop on "hibernate" and by Sunday morning, there was no power to the machine...."
When you Google the review, you'll find a review for RJM Computers in Boise, ID that has almost exactly the same text. But get this, the review was posted on March 31, 2016.
Another example, posted two weeks ago by Bobby Ryan on Control Alt Delete's reviews: "I have a Del Precision T5500 workstation. This is really a server but I use it as my desktop workstation. I've had this for about 2 years and it came with 2 SCSI 149 gig hard drives that was staring to fill up really fast. "
But I found another review from 5 Star Computer Service in North Hollywood, CA on May 7, 2016 that matches the text exactly.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreTom at Control-Alt-Delete is a computer genius! My Dell computer of 11 years finally bit the dust a few months ago and my cousin told me it would cost way to much to fix it and cheaper to get a new computer. I listened to my cousin and I had purchased a laptop to have an extra computer when my Dell did finally stop working. A few weeks ago I figured I would see just how much it would cost to fix my Dell with my income tax refund money. I did my search online and found Tom. I got a good feeling when I spoke to him on the phone and he told me to bring my computer down. I needed the memory increased to 4gb and a new hard drive of 1 gb and from Windows xp to Windows 7. Well Tom was able to do all of this! I was so happy to have my old computer brand new again! I can still have my CD/DVD drives in this computer too! If anyone has any computer issues bring it to Tom at Control-Alt-Delete!!!! He will fix it and for a great price too! He fixed my computer for way less than I thought and way less that my cousin has said it would cost! I will refer everyone to Tom from...
