Wong Wok Restaurant — Restaurant in Springfield

After a hards day work J called and ordered a large vegetable rice with extra fried egg and large round shrimp! I was told 30 - minutes and np I was charged for the extra egg. To my surprise I get home and it was barely any egg let alone extra!, and the rice was greasy! I called to ask to speak to the manager/ owner to express my dissatisfaction in the preparation of the rice. The manager was not apologetic she verbally checked with her chef and you know the staff lied.. She then responded by saying since it wasn't enough egg for you, I can offer only 2 options: 1st use my gas and return to the restaurant to pick up 1 -Egg to stir in my rice my self!! 2nd stop by in the future to make the same order and she ( manager) would not charge me for the extra egg only the vegetable rice. As a long-time customer that has spent countless dollars at Wong Wok I ( enough to own stock) I was livid and disappointed in their customer service treatment towards me in our community. I explained my feelings to the owner and stressed the lack of empathy being shown to a dissatisfied and paying customer of which should of been offered a fresh order of vegetable rice w/ extra egg and compensated for the inconvenience. It's the principal of the matter regarding this incident Shame on Wong Wok to not respect the African American working class enough in this community to do right by us!! From hello the lady taking the order was rude, she would let me finish getting out my order cutting me off and rushing me. Had a feeling the order would be off so I advised my partner to have them read back the order before paying. She read back the order we pay and takes the food. Sadly we didn't open the bag to check in on the 25min drive home.

At home we open the bag to find a LG chicken finger instead of wings and they didn't give us white rice which comes with egg foo young. We called and tried to explain the mistake and ask for them to remedy the situation. She was just as rude the second time we spoke. Telling us that we ordered chicken finger instead wing like I don't know what I ordered.

Straight lied like she didn't repeat the correct order in my partner face. Then told us if we want anything we need to make the 25 min ride back out to the restaurant. Listen up man, first off, the new interior design in this restaurant looks amazing. It really does look well. Now, I don’t care who disagrees with me, Wong Wok has some of the best Chinese food in this country, and I’m not the only one who says this. I have relatives from all over the county that come here and say the same thing, I kid you not. They literally have the best General Chicken I’ve ever had, very flavorful and trust me, you get a lot of it for a very low price, and don’t get me started on their Crab Rangoon’s and Chicken Fingers. Overall I definitely have to give them 5 stars, not just because of the food, but because the customer service. Unfortunately from my experience, customer service in in Springfield has not necessarily been priority number one, but here, it is. Lastly, I want to say to the girl who posted that video a year or two ago, and tried to get them shut down, thank you, because all you did was turn their downfall into blessing.
