Wild Olive Pizzeria Artisan Sandwiches & Pizza — Restaurant in Springfield

Please read before you order online. Read the low reviews. The best review is by someone who is new because I’m not biased one way or another. I’m a new customer who will never return. I have ordered multiple times and unfortunately it’s the same each time. It’s August 2025. Wild Olive restaurant does not care if they mess up your order. Wild Olive restaurant will blame you when they mess up your order and tell you we’ll get it right next time…but they won’t. We should boycott restaurants where we get cheated. This is a restaurant where I did not get what I paid for despite calling and speaking to a gentleman naming himself as a manager. Lots of restaurants sell pizza, and grinders, and whatever else is on the menu. Don’t get cheated out of the money that you work hard to earn at a Wild Olive. Wild Olive does not care if they short change you. I ordered a large grinder. I asked for the grinder to be made into a wrap. Instead of giving me the amount of chicken that would go in a large grinder, they gave me a little wrap and some french fries as if I were a child. Boycott, boycott, boycott, boycott, boycott! This is the second time it has happened to me, and there will not be a third disrespect. Boycott, boycott, boycott, boycott, boycott, Wild Olive restaurant. If you don’t know what boycott means look it up and then boycott Wild Olive!!...

This place used to be good back in 2015, but ever since I returned from California in 2017, I've not found anything to like about Wild Olive. I regret giving it a second chance after that initial disaster. The sweet potato fries were soggy as sin, and as another reviewer said, the fried Oreos tasted like meat, meaning that they were undoubtedly fried in the same oil as the rest of their products. If you have an allergy to fish or shellfish, definitely avoid this place because the oil is very obviously shared.

Finally, my sweet, sweet pulled pork panini. What have they done to you? You used to be such good quality and taste so good, but that is no longer the case. Now, you get a bunch of pork fat in your panini, which is NOT what I paid for. If you wanted to sell a pork fat panini, then put it on the menu! I'm done with this place and recommend you don't give them any business. Whatever happened in the two years I was away killed the great restaurant I knew and...

Went there today. Ordered online. The CSR called me as I was driving in to pick up my order and stated one of my items was not available, and to look at the menu, choose something else and call them back. I didn't want anything else. So when I get there I'm handed a sheet of paper for a number to call for a refund. By far the worst service I have received in along time. I ordered a lunch special with a drink wrap and chips. They made the wrap. Opened a bag of chips and poured them next go my sandwich and In my haste I didn't get my drink. I wouldn't go back here ever. And yes things happen. Ppl are human. But let's conduct ourselves as buisness men and women. Super unprofessional. I couldn't even eat the food. I didn't trust it. Don't eat here. Spend your money some place reputable and where they are respectful. I wish I could post a photo of the meal....
