Dabble Springfield — Attraction in Springfield

My husband and I were traveling through Springfield and found Dabble on a "Things to do in Springfield" website. We decided to stop by and see what it was about.

The staff there was extremely friendly and encouraging. We had never worked with resin and they were so patient in explaining the process and giving us direction without micromanaging our projects. We ended up doing several resin projects while there that day and even came back the next day to do a few more.

The atmosphere felt very comfortable and relaxing. So many things to choose from to create with. Prices were very reasonable and affordable.

My only complaint is that they dont have a location back home in St. Charles, but would totally be worth the 2 hour drive to go back.

Dabble provided the space and tools to create lasting sentimental memorabilia from many of the flowers preserved from my father's funeral. Vicki (& her team) spent time with us after spending - who knows how much - effort and time safely preserving the casket spray's assortment of beautiful roses, carnations and greenery. My sisters, niece, daughter, and myself gathered to share time together in the therapeutic creation of our different projects that reminded us of Dad. Vicki was with us on the day when we gathered, reminiscing about sweet memories with our dad. She helped us with her projects, but she was also engaging with us and asked about Dad. Very caring! I enjoyed this so much! It's a low-key casual place to spend some time doing arts and crafts with people you care about. In my case it was a neighborhood get-together. I made a closed terrarium, which I think is rad. There are lots of little pieces of art to choose from to put into the terrarium, as well as moss and plants.

Honestly I think what impressed me the most were the people working there who help guide the projects. In a day and age where your typical service worker obviously hates their job (and often for good reasons), I was amazed by how much people really love what they do here.
