Main St Market — Attraction in Springfield

I used to frequent this store as I live locally. One day I walked into the beverage cooler, as there was no sign saying that wasn't allowed. When I came out with my selection, the owner Josh, yelled at me from the catwalk above, and lets just say his words were not only extremely rude, they were offensive enough that I stopped my patronage for about 8 months. Today I walked in and properly grabbed my selections and tried to talk with him calmly about the incident, and his response was absolutely confrontational & rude again!* I was astonished to say the least, and have vowed to never do business there again. My favorite grocery store in Lane County. A big part of my reason for moving to Springfield is that they finally have a small local grocery store always stocked with fresh organic produce and many items you can’t find anywhere else around here. The new owners have really upgraded the store since taking over. This is a truly family owned business, both of the owners are actively involved in the store and are often there helping alongside their employees. They are open to suggestions if you have any specific items you want to buy regularly. And keep an eye out for when they invite local businesses to set up in store and give out samples which...

Really nice looking produce, like really nice. And very well priced. After finding this place it’s the only one we get produce from now. They also have other things, they do seem a little spendy compared to major retailers but I mean that’s very normal. HUGE selection of wine and beer for a store that size. I was very much surprised. I didn’t get a name but the guy working the counter was VERY friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend and if you live off pioneer in a side neighborhood like me it saves you having to go back to Walmart to get what you...
