RC Flea Market — Attraction in Springfield

Today was the last day of my lease that had been paid for six month in advance. Since I wasn’t going to renew my lease, I had been taking inventory, shelving and containers a bit at a time over the last few weeks so I wouldn’t have to deal with all of it at once. Two containers with inventory were the last things I needed to get.

My “booth” was actually a large section of a wall. I was shocked that the wall space I had rented through today was completely filled with other inventory. Not only that, but they removed my inventory from the two containers left and then had the gall to use my containers to display their inventory!

When I asked the gal running the register what the heck was going on, she said that the owner directed them to do that because “she thought you weren’t coming back.” So either 1) they have really crappy bookkeeping so that they don’t know when a lease is up, or 2) they did know, but confiscated the area I had paid for, anyway. Plus, conveniently “misplacing” my inventory that they moved.

No reimbursement for my inventory they took and no pro-rated refund for using the area I PAID FOR SIX MONTHS IN ADVANCE.

Their ethics have certainly changed since I did business with them at their old location and not for the better.

BTW: Reading others reviews, it’s easy to notice a pattern: If one leaves a one star, most often they are threatened with legal action. I have the receipts (literally) to prove what I posted above, so bring...

These people will get you they are scammers YALL HEARD !!! ! I use to be employed with them they stoled my new i phone smh 🤦 made a police report 👏 at that ! Then they steal my I pad never trust this store again these people are 2 face !!! They move your booth without your precession they tend to pay people to steal your BOOTH Belongings !! That you payed for oh and also they wouldn’t give you YOUR FULL money for the month of what you made of commission the lady who owns this store is a real scamming crook who I bet thats how she pays her rent there  at her flea market !!!! They also left all my tags on my clothes very unprofessional it looks like this store chooses people once again people don’t fall for THIS !!!! I didn't realize that this flea market had been around almost 3 years. Nestled away in a dead shopping center that used to have a bowling alley, you'd miss it if you blink due to the outdoor sign being a bit small. I was told by a gentleman that has one of the biggest booths in there that the owner of the shopping center was getting ready to renovate so sooner or later it's curb appeal will pop. Like every flea market there's a ton of as I would call useless stuff. Now to my surprise they specialize in new and used sports shoes, Nike, Jordan's, Adidas, UA for all ages sizes male or female. Price was really good. Knife Vendors were good as well. One other thing that this market had was a small grocery section, with dry, perishable and non perishable food items. 4 stars is for cleanliness and organization. It could use a good once over.
