J3 Studio — Attraction in St. Louis

I see Helen at J3 for all my hair needs. I followed Helen from another Salon because she is fantastic! Both my husband and I see her religiously! My hubs often switches between Euro styles, doing different and often less common looks for StL. Helen gets him. He trusts her too, and she always does anything he throws at her with skill. She gets what I'm going for (having gone from Blonde to Brunette then to Red) every time and I fully trust her to help me sort out the best shade/cut/frame whatever. She has her own great style, which means I can fully trust her. I usually just give her a general direction of where I want to go with my hair and let her work her magic. I also trust her to tell me if I am trying to go for something that won't work for my skin tone, face shape, etc. I'm a Curly Girl, and so is she, so she knows how to cut my hair to make it look its best. J3 is a great location, and the setting is intimate and well-done. Laura who works the desk (I think the majority of the time) is super friendly and is wonderful at helping me book appointments with our weird work...

I have to say there are very few places that will be upfront about what they can and cannot do. Not only did Judith explain the reasonings why they couldn’t do what I was looking for, but they looked around and got back with me, who hadn’t purchased anything yet, a different place who would be more able to help. That is stand up business practices but also just good people. Would trust them with any needs...

I went in and got a facial + dermaplane with Megan! It was my first dermaplane and facial! She did very very good and I would highly recommend her. She was very helpful, professional and listened to my concerns. I love that a little massage is included as well. This was something that I really needed for myself and she made it all worthwhile.
