It's not too bad. Just be aware that keep a noise/motion monitor in the space, so you're not really getting full privacy. My friend and I were just hanging on the couch drinking wine and playing cards and I was notified that I was being too loud. Considering it is literally right next to a highway, I doubt I was any louder than the Semi trucks driving by. The bed is a bit cheap and rickety but the linens were nice. The door lock is a little complicated and doesn't work with the fob they give you that's used for every other doorway and parking lot access. So you have to remember a string of numbers and hope you don't accidentally lock your phone behind you as you leave, should you have a bad memory. There is no front desk/concierge/regular maid service but there are plenty of extra towels and linen. The shower water does not get hot, only warm, and there is not a lot of water pressure. The location is decent, but you'll need to drive/uber/scooter to anywhere. Not a big deal since the neighborhood is pretty safe. It is okay for the price, but the infringement on my privacy really puts me off and I doubt I would...
Read moreI am EXTREMELY disappointment!! I reserved this hotel through Hotels.com. The site says no money will be withdrawn from your account until you reach the hotel and that was a LIE! The entire amount for the room was withdrawn the next day. It also states if canceled before 3/9/21 4pm you will get a full, that was a LIE as well! I have been contacting the property since 3/11/21 asking about my refund and every time some takes my information and say give it maybe 1 or 2 more days. I spoke with a lady today who could not keep her story straight, took my information, said she will pass it on to the manager and he would call me back. No RETURN CALL. So, I called back and now the response is, he's in a meeting that may last all day but I'm off at 5pm, I assure you I will call you with an update, never happened! At this point, I just want my money refunded back to my card as fast as it was withdrawn. Very unprofessional!! Seems I will have to just dispute with my bank since no one at this place will return my phone calls nor see that I receive my...
Read moreMy friends and I stayed here for two nights while in St. Louis for a concert. A few hours after our arrival, we realized that there was no hot water in the unit. Zen at Bordeaux doesn’t have a physical front desk in the building. Instead, you have to submit a ticket/request via a virtual system. It took several hours for maintenance to show up to “fix” the problem. The maintenance person instructed us to give the water heater at least 30 minutes to heat up. After three hours, the issue never resolved and we circled back around to ZenCity via their virtual system. After no response, I reached out to them via phone and was told that maintenance would not be returning to fix the water heater and that they would be unable move us to another unit due to them being booked to capacity. ||In addition to issues with the water heater, the check in process was extremely convoluted and we never received instructions on how to prepare for checkout. ||Do yourself a favor and just stay at a hotel. Avoid this place...
