We were nothing short of completely disappointed in our ceremony being at this location. We were told by the parks department when we booked our ceremony site in early 2021 that the Easter Lillies would be in bloom for our ceremony, they were not. We were also very disappointed in the lack of maintenance on the grounds around the Jewel Box. About half of the shrubs, flowers, and greenery around the Jewel Box had been pulled up and replaced with Dirt. This didn’t look good for our pictures. Last but not least, the confusion on masks being required or not required. I was told by Robert and Gus to reach out to Mike to see if he would be okay with our guests not wearing masks since this is a private event. When we spoke to Mike he was completely rude, disrespectful, and threatening to call the Park Rangers on our event if we did not abide by the mask mandate. We have no problem with masks and all of our guests were vaccinated prior to our ceremony(Mike was not vaccinated). Mike continued to talk over us and lash out at my wedding party when we were trying to explain the conversations I had with both Robert and Gus. This lack of communication was extremely irritating. Gus also expressed to us over and over again about how critical the timing is and that we must be out by the end of our scheduled time slot. I completely understand this but the multiple reminders seemed very excessive. The day of the wedding, guess who was late opening up the Jewel box that we had rented from 12:00PM- 1:30PM, MIKE WAS! If timing is so important, we expect you all to be on time as well. This delay caused 40+ Guests to be standing outside in the rain, ruining their hair, makeup, and outfits. This is unacceptable. I would not advise having your event here. Management does not care about you...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary with a delightful tour of St. Louis, and our journey took an unexpected and enchanting turn when we stumbled upon The Jewel Box in Forest Park. What a treasure it turned out to be!
As we wandered through the park, soaking in the lush landscapes and vibrant scenery, we were completely captivated by the stunning architecture of this conservatory. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by an incredibly friendly attendant who noticed I didn’t have exact change for a $20 bill. Instead of turning us away, he graciously allowed us to enter free of charge. His kindness set the tone for an unforgettable experience.
Inside The Jewel Box, we were enveloped in a breathtaking array of colors and aromas. The flora was simply mesmerizing, with bright, zesty hues that seemed to dance under the soft light filtering through the glass walls. Each corner revealed a new wonder, and it felt like we were in a dream. The air was fresh and invigorating, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
As we made our way outside, we were greeted by a stunning water vessel showcasing magnificent lily pads, their intricate designs and vivid colors creating a serene backdrop. It was a picture-perfect moment that felt almost surreal, and we couldn't help but take our time soaking it all in.
The Jewel Box is truly a hidden gem within St. Louis, offering not just a glimpse of nature’s beauty, but also a moment of tranquility that made our anniversary extra special. I can’t recommend this place enough! If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by—you...
Read moreI had my ceremony at the jewel box at 12-1:30 on June 18th. I am nothing less than horrified at the way that things were handled. We were never told that we had to wear masks three days before the wedding. We were okay with it but this was only the first obvious sign of horrible management. I arrived at 12:05 to find that my groom and the entire wedding party as well as all of our guest were standing outside still and the doors were still looked. We were told that someone should have been there to open the back doors at 11:45. My husband has a 94 year old great grandmother that had to stand in the heat for HALF AN HOUR before we were finally let in my a park ranger who had to call his supervisor to get permission to open the door. We get let in and the entire ceremony was RUINED by a constant beeping from the alarm system because the jewel box wedding staff never showed up. During my ceremony people from the wedding after mine started walking in the building because the doors were still unlocked and there was no staff to keep them out. At 1:20 the staff finally arrived and tried to kick us out early, was incredibly rude and never once apologized. I am disgusted that we paid for someone to drop the ball and ruin what was suppose to be the best day of my life. $1000 is not something you drop...
