Beautiful place to enjoy the fall foliage and an unreasonable warm (but windy!) October afternoon. Plenty of walking trails. Quite hilly. Lovely trees of all different varieties. A couple good picnic spots. An excellent playground. Open, working, mostly clean bathrooms, though the water supply was not sufficient to wash hands well. Randomly discovered the sport of bike polo. What a crowd! What I really love about St. Louis is the overall lack of context sometimes. 🤣

Tilles is a great pickleball spot with 6 courts. A few cracks here and there will result in an occasional dead ball, but doesn't happen often. Players are friendly and always include new players interested in joining for doubles play. Shaded side is usually taken early, and it's one of the few courts in the area that has this little respite from the harsh August sun.

Nice little park. It has a big playground, one tennis court, 6 pickleball courts, a basketball court, at least one baseball field, a splash pad, and a hockey rink. Street parking, but it's kind of annoying to get to since the road on one side is a one way. There are bathroom facilities as well. Dogs allowed on leashes

This is the small Tilles Park in the city of St. Louis. It has enjoyed improvements lately, but still not up to the level of Francis Park, which is in nearby St. Louis Hills. City Park Department trucks drive through without much attention, and leave deep trenches in the soil, which is not very good there anyway. These trenches fill with water after rainfall, and they are unattractive and dangerous. I always say, would this happen in Francis Park? No! All decorative features must be maintained by citizens, not the City. So while this park is a much appreciated neighborhood feature, it is a stepchild in the...

The park is beautiful and full of activities. The picnic pavilion/tables are in a perfect location. They're close to the playground, baseball field, tennis courts, and restroom. I'm not sure how often they clean the picnic grounds or restroom. We paid $80 to reserve the pavilion and had to sweep up a large amount of nasty trash before we could use it.The least the parks dept could do is make sure its in usable condition. The bathroom stalls have no doors and there was feces on two of the three toilets. The smell and condition made the restrooms unusable. I was really...

My kids had a blast!!! It was a thousand degrees while we were there. We lathered on sunscreen and played in the sun and WATER for 2 hours. The splash pad was definitely a hit with every child there. The park and splash pad are right next to each other so children can go back and forth without making parents move constantly. The bathrooms are clean and are also right next to the splash pad. If you’re thinking about taking your kids, do it! They’ll love it and you’ll love the nap they take after...
