So this used to be a great location at one point. I've continued to go even though the customer service has become exceedingly awful but, since it's close to a friends home I was going regularly. After several botched orders, rude language and vulgar personal discussions of the employees " sex life" I'm done. I was one of three people in a half hour who's order was wrong. The employee decided that we were all wrong and we gave our orders wrong. I've been ordering the same sandwich the same way for over four years. Lol Basically one of the customers told the employee off. I also heard her order and yes, they screwed it up. No apologies, no fixed sandwiches, nothing! Evidentally, while I was eating I got the privilege to over hear a conversation by the employees sitting at one of the tables playing with their phones during their shift that many of the employees are related and dont have to worry about losing their jobs. One employee said she doesn't do dishes and someone else would have to do them so her nails don't get messed up cause she's too good for this job :/ It's like drama central here. It's not worth my money to continue to come to this establishment. There are so many wonderful places to eat off Hampton. Should have stopped a long time ago but, I know we all have bad days and not to judge too harshly but, I feel like I'm correct in saying this entire Penn Station and employees need a huge clean up! Better off heading to the Hill for a really great sandwich for basically the same price or a bit more. Although I'll pay extra for good customer service and a sandwich that is made correctly and not having to beg to have it fixed or drive back and beg to have it fixed. Worse Penn Station I've been to in the entire St. Louis area! Read morePlaced an online order today. Online said order would be ready in 15mins. I got there within about 12 mins and the lady at the counter said they just started it. I asked how long it would be my dog is in the car. She said “ 5-10 mins” I watched them put the meat on the grill, and I walked out to move my car to the front so I could keep an eye on my dog. They just have thought I left ( which would be stupid as I already paid online) bc when I came back in she started my order again. Total order took 30 mins for a sandwich and fries. 2nd the place did smell like urine. 3rd when I asked if there was dressing on the sandwich she asked me if I said dressing online? I told her I just assume Reubens came with it. She asked if on the side was ok, and said can you just put it back on the sandwich. That’s when she got rude, mumbling under her breath. Read moreThis site wasn't busy when I eventually picked up my food. When I called to order, the person answering asked me to wait, put the phone down (not on hold), and didn't pick it up. During the 12 minutes I waited, I could hear the staff chattering back & forth about customers. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I went online to order and eventually just hung up the phone after submitting . My order wasn't close to ready when I arrived, after giving them some time leeway with the online pick up estimate, and I waited on site for another 15 minutes. When they completed the order, it was wrong. Club sandwich without bacon? 1 large fry instead of 2 mediums I ordered? A few minutes here & there and on off order isn't a big deal. 2 of the 3 staff members on site were wearing masks incorrectly.
