The World's Fair Pavilion sits majestically atop a hill in verdant Forest Park. It seems lonely when empty. And then the wedding party shows up and it springs to life. What a grand place to get married. You must be mobile because there are a lot of steps to get to the Pavilion. The climb is worth it because the grand vista of the park lies before you. You almost feel like Lewis and Clark staring at the wide open spaces before you.

One of the best places in Forest Park to take in the views. Resting high on a hill you get a very nice look to the north, I think. We were here for a wedding and the venue looked very nice. I would assume 150ish is the right number of attendees. Has large restrooms off to the west side. The sun setting was kind of rough for an hour or so and we kind of rotated around our table to get out of direct rays.

Great spot for a wedding or other outdoor event when it’s not cold out. The views from the top of the hill are great and you can see for miles. There are tons of steps to go up and down if you want to get a good workout in. There’s also lots of flat grassy areas to use. The large fountain is nice in the summer months.

Absolutley breathtaking to have had our wedding ceremony here. Weather was beautiful so we were able to be down on the balcony facing the waterfall. Due to COVID we had to switch last minute and were blessed to find something so perfect late in planning.

3 stars due to booking, requires a check in hand so we had to go down there for that. And the day of the bathroom and place for bride to hide was locked and had to be unlocked last minute after phone calls were made which added stress to my now husband for no reason. There was also chalk on the ground at our rehearsal on Wednesday and it was still there the day of the wedding which I felt was tacky, for the price this should have...

It's a pavilion on a hill. There's not much that I can say about it, there's a really nice fountain down the hill in front of it that everybody uses as a swimming pool. I use the park daily for skateboarding and exercise there are a lot of steps that you can run up and down for exercise. The payment is rough so it's not ideal for skateboarding. The scenery and atmosphere is always pleasant. It's a nice place to sit and chill while the sun goes down. It's hard to explain but sunset in the park has this almost magical kind of energy. I always feel grateful for being alive and happy that God allows me to experience...

It's not bad, but I didn't realize it wasn't used at the world's fair until I got there. From a plaque at the pavilion: "Though called the World's Fair Pavilion, this popular gathering spot was not built until 1909, five years after the Louisiana Purchase Exposition. Designed by Henry Wright, the pavilion was presented to the citizens of St. Louis by the Fair Commission. It gave St. Louisans a place to take in a view of their city, enjoy refreshments and meet each other in the park where the...
