This was a stop we did not plan well. Unfortunately, we did not make the ferry to cross over to the island. They have very specific times and days that they run. Definitely check their website. The visitor center was not very large but informative on some of the history. The gift shop was not staffed when we went but the Ranger on duty did his best to help. The museum down the road was nice also. Informative. The hours posted were 10-4. We arrived at 11:50 and the doors were locked. To Plum Orchid and Dungeness highly suggest the van tour offered by park services.
You need to bring your own food and drinks. There is no concession stand or cafe.
