Orange Hall Gilman Cultural Center — Attraction in St. Marys

This historic structure is a beautiful example of 1830's Greek revival style. Very interesting to learn about its many lives, from a fancy private home to when the Gilmans purchased it and converted it into multi-family use for workers. The city used it as a library later, and now it is a public museum. A lot of progress has been made inside and out, and the great volunteers and staff I met when I visited are probably just the tip of the iceberg.
