If you are a Penn State fan you have to visit this iconic statue. At time you will stand in line to have your picture captured as you straddle the lion. It is nice at night time with the lighting they added. There is a small pay parking lot right next to it, otherwise you can park in the parking lot behind it.

THE symbol of the university!! A place where every Penn State student goes a least once a week in my opinion, the shrine is so beautiful and there are so many occasions to take pictures there!! Easy to find and always taken care of, it's really an amazing spot in the campus!!

The Lion Shrine is always worth the visit! People are quick and understanding of the fact that others want pictures and it moves pretty quickly. The only really long wait times are during football weekends or move-in weekends.

I visited the shrine like anyone else who visits Penn State, it appears. Not sure what's so special about the shrine, it's the place to visit at Penn State but it's just a small lion statue. The visit only took a minute, and I guess it was worth it, given my curiosity about the place, it is unclear to me why everyone makes such a big...

As a graduate of another NCAA school, I could only hope to see my team beat Penn State in football sometime, but I truly admire the Nittany Lion Shrine as a beautiful work of art and a tribute to the Penn State students and alumni. No lowly human can take from the pride and school spirit that this...

One of the handful of "Landmark Attractions" in our bustling College town. Whether you're local, student, alumni, or visiting: make sure to make a 5 minute pit stop and get yourself your very own 'family atop, or beside, the infamous Nittany Lion Mascot Statue' photo.

My Photogenic Family circa 2015 🔵⚪🔵...
