I received a $50 belt for Christmas. 5 months later the leather has split in several locations under normal wear. I have other leather belts that I have worn for years that have never split. The belt is now distorted and unsightly and I will probably have to trash this belt in the next couple of months. I do not recommend this store. I also received a tee shirt from a special friend from Anderson’s store for Christmas. I had a couple of small food stains that I tried to remove using the same gentle methods I use for all my shirts. The color came right of the shirt at the two spots. I thought the problem with shirts not being color fast was resolved in the 80’s! The shirt is ruined and it cost about $30 for the shirt which would be $15-20 anywhere else. Bottom line I’m 2 for 2 for receiving cheap products at premium prices. I do not recommend this store and will not shop there again. Update…. Here it is a year later so I wanted to update my review. After throwing away the very expensive “cheap” belt I bought from Anderson’s store, I bought a $14 Dickies belt from Walmart. After 6 months it is still like new compared to the Anderson Store $50 belt that was falling apart within 6 months. Also unlike several concerned business owners that contacted me after a bad review, I have heard nothing from Anderson’s Store. It is very obvious to me that they are completely content with cheating ...
Read moreAnderson's has a variety of chicks which is very appealing but don't let it fool you. My family drove 2 hours to purchase a certain breed which two employees that I spoke to over the phone said that all chicks were $5.49 a piece. They knew the type of breed I wanted but never said the cost would be different than $5.49. So as we arrived to the store on the scheduled day they told me the chicks were not in. The manager Jon even told me $5.49 as well but he was kind and told me he would give me a call once they got them in. 2 days later I get a call saying the chicks were never mailed so Anderson's blamed it on the hatchery. Finally 3 days after the original date I drove 2 more hours to purchase the breed I wanted and the cost had changed from $5.49 to $11.49. This is not acceptable for a local business, communication is the key.
Thank you for the reply but I called to express my concerns with the owner since it said from owner and owner was not available. Then Dru the General Manager was not able to come to the phone after 6 mins of waiting and Jon answered. I am doing what you suggested...
Read moreNice, sweet staff members! The store is clean and easy to move around in and although sort of small, there is a ton of stuff for everyone. I recently came in and purchased some Christmas gifts for my boyfriend - a new pair of Ariat boots for work and some throwing axes he really liked. Both decently priced for the quality they are, and I didn't have to wait long at ALL for any assistance! I stepped over to the boots when I walked in and within at least a minute a sweet boy (that I didn't catch the name of) came over and asked if I needed anything and quickly got me down the exact pair I needed and held them at the register for me. When I went over to the case holding the axes a sweet girl (again, didn't catch names, sorry!) was quick to grab some keys and grab them out for me. Checkout was quick and efficient with two personable cashiers and I even got a 30% off coupon since I spent so much (lol). I will most definitely be...
