Do not get a wedding cake here - terrible customer service and poor communication skills.

I had email and phone conversations with this bakery for coming in to do a cake tasting for a wedding cake. I scheduled the appointment over the phone after being told by email to call the bakery and when I came in a week later, they had no knowledge of the appointment and made me prove that I had spoken to them by pulling up the emails and phone call.

They had nothing for me to try and I had wasted time taken off from work to be there. I left in tears after being humiliated and called a liar. I have just moved to the area and wanted to support a local business but they have lost me...

This is my new go to bakery when I’m hosting any sort of party! The staff at Magdalena are always friendly and follow up to confirm orders. The cakes have the perfect amount of sweetness and they use high quality ingredients so you taste the actual flavor of the cake. I’ve ordered a carrot cake (delicious) for my mom’s birthday. I called them and described what I wanted for my daughter's baby shower cake. They asked me to email them a photo. I got a pretty fast reply asking me to call them. After about a 5 minute phone call reviewing details, we were all set. Picked up the cake today (120 servings, 3 tier), it was absolutely PERFECT and tasted amazing.
