Was so excited to read about this store as we drove through Staunton, Virginia. This recommendation came through the Find Me Gluten Free app. The reviews spoke of so many gluten-free options — and the photos showed a variety of GF treat options that looked inventive and delicious.

When we pulled up on a Saturday morning, we were surprised to see that the waffle cafe in the same block had tables and chairs set up in the street — even Waze didn’t know the road was closed. Luckily there is a public parking garage around the corner (on Johnson) that was easy to find.

The olive oil company was packed when I walked in — always nice to see. People were raving about the oils and vinegar (also great to hear). The shelf-stable gluten-free items ranged from pastas to crackers — there were jars of dips/spreads, too! Imagine my disappointment when I located the pastry case near the register and it was basically empty. The team member let me know they had been “cleaned” out over the week but would have more next week. I love that the products sell, but definitely felt like I had gone out of my way — guess I’ll call ahead next time I’m on 81N randomly driving by Staunton.

We did pick up a “lemon cheese” bar — this is not to be missed!! It is a lemon bar on a meringue crust with a hint of cheesecake as a base, too. The s’mores brownie is decadent and can only be enjoyed in small bites.

All in all — great spot in a cute town that I’m glad I found it — just wish I realized it was such a popular spot so I could have...

IT IS MORE THAN AN OUTSTANDING OLIVE OIL STORE! This cozy well stocked culinary delightful store has a plethora of tasty excellent olive oils such as: garlic, harissa, lemon, basil and black garlic and many more scrumptious oils that you can sample. There are four sizes available. But don't get sidetracked with the olive oils and the shelves full noodles, condiments and spices. There are tasty gluten free baked goods to peruse that will please the most finickiest gf person. Keep going towards the back of the store and sample some exquisite tastebud bursting balsamic vinegars that come in many flavors like serrano honey, mission fig and cinnamon pear! Lastly, customer service is always the best. TAYLOR was kind, knowledgeable, helping us sample flavors and explain various taste choices. She cared so much about her products that I asked her if she was the store owner! Don't delay, go by there and pick up a bottle or two for you and two as a great gift...

We enjoyed our time here and made purchases if their olive oils, vinegars and honey. They are doing their best to explain every oil or item you inquire about. Due to COVID-19, the days of sampling are over for now so having staff explain, in detail, what the oils taste like, how it's infused is very important. We came home from our vacation and the oils we brought are exactly as explained....my husband from Spanish heritage wanted a Spanish infused oil, we got it..... I like heat, we got a beautiful oil with just the right amount of heat. They carefully wrapped all of our purchases and even the $5 "mini's", when we asked, were sealed with their machine so no accidental seeping occured. Hands off for the...
