Shaw Appliance — Attraction in Streator

Honestly if I could give them negative stars I would! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service! We purchased a washer dryer combo from them which needed repaired not too long after, when the service guy came he was super careless, he broke the entire frame on our front door when he was leaving “because he didn’t want to make two trips for his tools” it also took him days to fix the dryer and the dryer is now not working again! We called to ask them to come out (because there aren’t many appliance repair services near us) and we’re told that the service man is refusing to come to our house because of his laziness the first time! Unfortunately Shaws does not honor their warranty well. Three months after purchasing a washing machine, we had the sound go out. No big deal, as the machine worked properly. Shaws communicated well that the part was on back order. As soon as they received the part, they would schedule a repair. At the one year mark of purchase, we had still yet not received our warranty work. (After a few calls throughout the nine months, to check in) we did agree even though machine is now out of warranty, if thr part came it it would still be covered. These people are great. They are so willing to help out anytime. Kathy is wonderful, we have always done business from 1800 miles away and they have been so receptive to this. We have several pieces of property and we are in in Florida, when we have a problem we call Kathy, and she gets us fixed up right away.
