never go here! Last weekend my boyfriend and our 4 year old daughter watched a kid throw up all over THE walking area by the toddler area. The parent didn’t tell anyone - nobody else apparently saw.. as my boyfriend got up to go and tell the lifeguard we saw a little girl walk right into it and thn glide her foot across the “clean” cement & thn go INTO the pool.
But that isn’t bad compared to the end.
After like… a lot of minutes lol a worker comes with a broom, a scrub brush, & a deep clear bucket I assumed was filled with something to clean it up properly. (Florida health code when serving food is MUST OWN A BODILY FLUID CLEAN UP KIT so I mean, it wasn’t that but I assumed it would be quick and efficient. But no…. The 17ish year old girl proceeds to SWEEP UP THE CHUNKS AND THE “liquid” of it while essentially just making the entire area way bigger BUT I COULD MOT BELIEVE I THN WATCHES HER 1000% dunk the BROOM and all the stuff she just swept up INTO THE POOL !! And thn wipes it on the bristles with the ledge where PARENTS always put their heads!! than she dunked it again (mind you at this point I was out of the water as was my family and I was on my way over there to stop her from the ridiculous sanitization clean up EVER)
She thn dunks it again to I guess take some of the “water” out of the pool to thn grab the scrub brush and give it a literal one stroke scrub bur def still making that brush disgusting. Right as she had half that brush in the POOL I said TELL ME YOU ARE NOT PUTTING THROW UP INTO THE POOL!! She literally said OH THAT WASNT PUKE hah
I was like wowwww and now you’re lying? And said how I’m the one who asked them to clean it up! Couldn’t believe it. Thn I wanted to talk to the supervisor because my daughter has asked us for 3 weeks to come to the splash park & we never could as her dad and I work so much. We’re both GMS. And I was opening a new store so I knew it would be my last weekend for who knows when.
She was having the time of her life and all of that happened 30 minutes after getting there. She was so upset but also had zero desire to go back into that water! Which has never been the case!!
The manager seriously could have cared less. First thing she said when I asked what their cleaning policy was for bodily fluid spills & ahe immediately said “yeah my staff told me she also told me you recorded her for a long time”
RECORDED HER?? I WAS IN THE POOL LOL she got there a month ago and she can promise that that isn’t how they clean it normally the girl just got confused because “she’s a teenager of course we have common sense but they definitely don’t yanno!!?” & she laughed. I literally said no. If you’re hiring that age you have to DO YOUR PART as their employer to reach them BASIC cleaning standards. I never even got a genuine sorry.
I realize they clean the pool with hella chemicals my point in this this is if that’s their standard ON A SATURDAY BUSY AF ANS THEYLL DO THAT INFRONT OF 100+ families — imagine what they do when...
Read moreI went there today and was a little disappointed as it was our first time there. I bought 6 tickets and rented a cabana. I ended up bringing 4 additional people and paid for them once I got there. We also had 3 friends meet us there. So there was 13 of us in total. We bought food around 3:00 and walked it back to our cabana. At 3:38 I walked back to get drinks and I saw the widow closed, I asked the girl if they had closed already and she said yes. The park closes at 5 and they closed the consessions at 3:30?? I didn’t read that anywhere beforehand and didn’t see it on the wall, unless I missed it. About 10 mins later a girl came by the cabana and asked if she could get us anything, I said well the only thing we needed was drinks but they already closed. She atleast tried to go ask again for us but was told no. I brought 13 people and paid all that money and was willing to pay for drinks and they couldn’t atleast do that? That’s pretty bad customer service. There were people there that had snuck in alcohol and some were drinking Bud light out in the open. The only really positive thing I can say is they did have plenty of life guards that never stopped walking and watching. They weren’t sitting talking to each other or on cell phones. So that’s the only reason I gave 3 stars. Because I have seen worst lifeguards at other places. But all in all would I go back to Sailfish?? The answer is no. I will drive the longer distance and go to Rapids or the smaller water park in Palm Beach county. I was really let down by the way that place was ran. I mean no one even checking at the door before you walk in. I walked right in and my kids were in the water and no one asked us a word…before I went around looking to find answers about the wristbands. They also had about 8-10 very young kids in the kitchen area and looked like they needed an adult there to just make sure everything was ok, but that wasn’t the case. I won’t...
Read moreOur family recommends Sailfish Splash to all our friends as a great summer outing, especially after our most recent visit! Every year, we travel hours to rent a certain cabana (GREAT deal, definitely worth it!) and spend the day at Sailfish Splash with our 3 boys. Unfortunately, our 2024 trip was a rough experience, but thankfully, I emailed customer service right away. I was pleasantly surprised that the Aquatic Manager, Emily, replied that they would host our day on them next time. An entire year later, this year, we were planning our trip, and I remembered to follow up on that email, not really expecting a reply. I was extremely grateful to indeed receive a response from Emily, just inviting me to pick our date to come and she'd take care of the rest! Our trip ended up being as smooth as it possibly could have been. Landon, our cabana host, was especially attentive to our family, and made sure we had everything we needed. Any company that acknowledges their mistakes, take a loss, AND honors their word a YEAR LATER deserves a SHOUT OUT!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ just for making up for last year! I wouldn't generally give Sailfish Splash 5 stars (it'd probably be a 4) because the food options are definitely too limited for the prices, and they don't allow outside food/drinks. Major bummer there, BUT the lazy river is a busy mom's dream, the splash pad area is plenty entertaining enough for the kids, and the slides are a fun experience as well! Cabana rentals are great; it really gives us the opportunity to enjoy our time and have a more intimate family experience, while having a host to help ensure a relaxing day. The staff in general has been outstanding and that in itself is hard to find. We are already looking forward to next...
