Owner, operator, and stylist Lynda Trombley Garieri has most tastefully managed to create a posh Newbury Street experience right here in our forever growing Sturbridge/Fiskdale, MA community minus the high cost Newbury Street pricing menus. I should tell you I'm not one who generally comments or rates my experience with businesses of any kind but the entire staff at the Hair Gallery Salon & Spa continues to leave me feeling, and will surely leave you feeling, so very grateful, rejuvenated, and wanting to give back in some way all while walking back to your vehicle with a new skip in your step. Arrive early as you'll most definitely want to tour the salons upstairs & downstairs in its entirety and just when you think you've seen it all there's another nook or hallway that leads to even more salon & spa services. Arrive a little early and take advantage of the serene upstairs lounge while enjoying a beverage or two of your choice...one of my favorites is the freshly made fruit infused water. I used the hair gallery salon & spa for my wedding hair & make up for myself and bridal party and they did absolutely amazing , my hair does NOT stay curled , when I went for my trial I expressed this and Alyssa made sure she was prepared for that , gave me tips on what to do/ not to do the day of the wedding with my hair to allow me to have the best long lasting curls. My hair stayed beautifully curled and in place for 12 hours , I couldn’t believe it . The amount of compliments made me so happy ! Zoey did my make up , and as being someone who doesn’t wear make up really ever I can’t express how beautiful I felt , but how ME I felt at the same time. I truly can’t express how thankful I am for everyone who helped myself and my bridal party to feel their most beautiful self for the best day of my life. Paula did an awful job. I walked in with mid butt length hair, wanted a hair cut but to still leave with long hair to my belly button. I walked out with bra strap length hair instead and the most blocky blunt cut I have ever seen. So not only is my years of growth gone but it looks like I cut it at home myself straight out a ponytail. I now have bangs as well when I asked for just face framing pieces/angles. While at the salon I did know it was much shorter than I originally wanted but it's already cut and can't add the hair back on & with how she brushed and pushed my hair the bluntness of the cut wasnt visible. Once getting home and playing around with it is when the real cut showed & honestly i think my 3 year old could have done better. I don't recommend this salon unless you want the complete opposite of what you asked for or want whatever you asked for to go in one ear and...
