Sturbridge Yankee Pedlar — Local services in Sturbridge

(Of note: I primarily write these reviews for my own business clients who are typically in or nearing retirement. I review establishments I visit that they might like, given the unique demographic of my client base.)

You have to see it for yourself! This places is absolutely worth a visit and give yourself some time. Our family stopped here recently on a short trip. We had a little time to check out the area.

This place has it all! First, it’s huge. Filled to the brim with merchandise of all kinds. Great place for gifts, decorations or antiques.

This place appears to be LGBTQ friendly. Though no bathrooms are available (I normally look for gender neutral rest rooms).

The four stars comes from the fact that every is pretty expensive. Granted, none of these items are basic necessities. Second, it’s not an easily accessible place if you have mobility issues or if you have young kids with you, especially with a baby carriage. Things are right and floors are uneven. It’s an old house. We get it, but you should know this going in.

You'll never see everything that's in this place. The smell was a bit much when you first enter probably because they have sooo much stuff. Located near Sturbridge Village, I can't imagine this store packed with tourists because the aisles are narrow and overflowing with "stuff" from ceiling to floor.The building is about a mile long (some exaggerating) and it's packed with just about everything. Love this place. There's always something new and it's one store you can just walk through slowly and discover something you won't find anywhere else.
