What a great park!! First time here but noticed all the following attractions: there are 3 baseball diamonds, 2 different playground areas, a boat launch, a sandy beach, a wide walking/jogging path that loops around the park, numerous park benches/picnic tables and even swinging benches that overlook the water. There are 2 tennis courts and several pickle ball courts. There is a small circuit exercise course and short Frisbee disc course. The restrooms have plumbing, running water, soap, and hand dryers. There is even a dedicated bench and wind phone to speak to the memory of a lost loved one. Park allows leashed dogs except on playground equipment or at the beach. I imagine in the summer months this is a very popular destination!! Regardless time of year, get outside and enjoy the scenic views...

2 playground areas, volleyball court, basketball and tennis courts, beach, track/gravel walking loop. Pond on one side and lake on the other. Lots of trees. Lots of grassy area. A pavilion, restrooms (closed in winter), lots of picnic tables, swing benches, disc golf, boat launch, etc. And it's right in town.

I go there all the time with the kids, sometimes with my dogs, occasionally by myself to relax under a tree by the pond.

It's a big space with a lot of parking.

There are turtles and frogs and fish in the pond. Often ducks and geese. Dragonflies and such, too. It's a nice area.

We do birthday parties for the kids there. There are often other people doing celebrations of one kind or another, as well. And they also do different free...

Very large park with several options for everyone. The park is dog friendly even through the ducks may disagree. There are several paved walking paths with benches along the way to either rest or sit and watch the water. Especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. The 2 pavilions are close to the bathrooms. Yet so are the tennis and basketball courts. The baseball diamonds are a little further away. As a grandma I especially appreciate that there are 4 different playgrounds spaced through out the park so you can have them close by even if you have older children with a variety of interests using other...

Great hidden gem of a park. So much to pick from: playgrounds, pavilion, pond, picnicking, tennis courts, lovely clean beach and paved walking trails. Back a couple of years, dogs were allowed but wisely the city laws changed. The loop trail is great for that and keeps the geese away. Prior to dogs being there, goose droppings were everywhere. Letting dogs off leash at certain times of year might help this even more. I only give it four stars because I like to go in the winter and wish someone could run a plow over the paved paths so I can continue walking there.
