Bad quality and bad service. I was very disappointed based off the high reviews the location seemed to have gotten prior. Somehow my burrito was completely forgotten about and never made. I waited 20 minutes and saw a woman who ordered after me get the exact burrito I ordered, so I asked the staff who had dropped off hers about mine. The employee said she would go check on it and never came back. I stood up after a while, as it had then been 30 minutes since ordering, and that employee I asked popped their head in the back and said they were working on it. No apologies were ever given. No fault was ever admitted to. No free little cookie or something for my wait time. I would have been more understanding if someone had simply said "I'm so sorry I don't know how the ticket got lost I apologize for your wait, here's something to snack on in the meantime if you would like." By the time I got the burrito, my friend had already finished her meal, which had already gotten cold from her trying to wait for mine. The burrito seemed hastily made, as it was dripping wet from something and was falling apart, even as I picked it up initially. The staff can truly make or break a place and unfortunately for me, this put a damper on my view...

We’ve been patrons for the last few years. We also travel for business and visit restaurants, cafes and coffee shops all over the country. On June 19,2021 we stopped in for coffee and breakfast. To our surprise, no one greeted us when we approached the inside counter. After standing there for 10 minutes, no one said hello or attempted to serve us. We went outside to order from the walk up window. At least 3 employees saw us as they filled orders, but still no greeting. While outside, a family entered the inside area to order for outside dining and was served before us. Yes, they were busy, but you need to serve your customers. Say, hello, let customers know you’re busy and there will be a longer than usual wait. After 10 more minutes outside, we decided that the customer service was so poor, that they simply didn’t deserve our business. This is a shame as we used to enjoy this place. You simply can not ignore your customers. At the very least, smile. Not a single employee smiled in the twenty or so minutes we were there. Wow. After the pandemic can you really afford to do business this way? EPIC...

The bakery items were good. But the service and the staff were not. We ordered a frappe and a cold brew, and I stood by the waiting window for 20 minutes. They gave us the cold brew and forgot about the frappe. I kept seeing people that ordered after getting their frappes before us. So, I gave an inquisitive look to the staff person, and she flipped at me. Instead of apologizing for the wait, she took a tone with me and said, "I'm not the one making the cold drinks. That person is new, and it's going to take a while." And then brushed me off. 25 min later, when there was no one left in line, we finally got it, and the lady dropped it off at the window and didn't say anything to us and left back inside. The best part was when we got the drink it was awful and not blended right. I would have given the staff a chance to fix it, but not with the way they were...

What an absolute gem of Sturgeon Bay. Very eclectic decor inside as well as outdoor seating area. Little really needs to be said except for fantastic service and even better coffee and food. Ordered two black drips with two different breakfast burritos. DY-NO-MITE! The in-laws have spent decades in the area and have done very little venturing into town. This will be a new regular stop for my wife and I. Easy to miss as you're traveling through downtown Sturgeon Bay and then heading further up the peninsula. As is the case with many small businesses in SB, it's a repurposed house so keep your eyes peeled! Or just follow Google Maps that will guide you to the corner of...can you guess?? 5th & Jefferson.

If you're on your way up to Door County, stop and check this place out! They have delicious coffee drinks and breakfast options as well. There is little space for seating indoors, but if the weather is nice, you can sit out in the yard where they have lots of tables set up. Inside, they have kitschy decor and clearly must be llama lovers :P Check out the bathtub inside if you get a chance! We had a bit of a wait for our food since it was a Saturday morning on a holiday weekend, but that was to be expected. We all enjoyed our food and drinks and will definitely stop back when we're in the area again!
