I typically do not like to write bad reviews, because I understand that things happen, and we could have just gone at the wrong time on an off day, but our experience on Sunday, September 1st was unacceptable. A group of 7 of us visited in the afternoon for a late lunch. Two people ordered a club sandwich, both without mayo, and one without tomato due to an allergy, and my wife ordered mini corn dogs for our son. The mini corn dogs came out so burned that all of the breading was cracked, and rock hard. Both clubs came out with mayo and tomato. We sent the sandwiches back, because of the tomato allergy. When our server brought them back out, the sandwiches were made right this time, but put on the wrong plates. Also, instead of making new sides (one order of fries, one order of onion rings) they were microwaved when the plates came back out. Not the end of the world, but the fact that our waitress told us they were wrong when she brought them to us really baffled me. If you knew they were wrong, why not switch them in the kitchen, rather than bring out the order wrong...AGAIN. Next we got our bills. One bill had an extra soda on it, which the server took off when we told her about it. My bill had someone else's drink on it. When asked how everything was, I brought up all of the mistakes to our server, and the fact that there was a drink on my bill that was not mine. The server apologized, and ran my card for my bill...WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S DRINK STILL ON IT. How many times can you screw up in one visit? We will...

Worst BBQ ever, most expensive, and a terrible meal!

This was a huge disappointment $33.67 for bad bar food; one entree; cheap starter and two beers is abysmal. It's not a supper club, not a restaurant but it charges like one.

On a Thursday night in the Peak of summer I visited this place, because I felt like BBQ and the reviews were good.

The BBQ was terrible. Walmart has better BBQ.

I live in state so paying $4.25 for a tap beer, a no-name, own brand, tap beer is ridiculous.

I have no idea how the waitstaff survive I was the only customer.

The pulled pork was OK and at least had some flavour compared to the brisket. My $15.95 bought me maybe 2-3oz of two, tasteless, old, meats that had never seen smoke. It was dry, which is fine, if you add a rub, smoke or flavor. When you eliminate: sauce; smoke; herbs; and, spices, it's meat NOT BBQ.

The starter, loaded potatoes, came from a freezer, pre-prepared a slice of cooked plain potato top with queso and breaded before being deep fried, when your (stuffed) loaded potatoes are worse than Chilli's or Outback you should be ashamed. If you can't beat a poor chain restaurant you should at least try. Try home cooking. ($6.95)

In small town (ish) rural Wisconsin and you have access to amazing local produce, use some of it, try cooking.

This was a huge disappointment

The music is night club loud, obviously for the staff. The few bar customers all left in about 20 minutes.

I don't know if they lost their cook or changed owner but this SUCKED. The price...

This place has some serious issues which appear to be staffing related. When we entered, we were greeted and told to sit wherever we wanted. It then took 15+ minutes for a server to eventually stop by. We placed both our drink orders and food orders followed by more delay. When the food eventually arrived, half my meal was missing (I ordered two things). I was about to give up when 15 minutes later they finally brought it out. The fries and homemade chips were too well done, so obviously they left these items in the deep frier too long.

We needed things throughout the meal like sauces, and since we had no luck with our server, we started going up to the bar to ask for things. But even that resulted in a several minute wait each time. We were finally done, but unable to get our server to stop by for the check. Eventually my family went and waited outside while I stood there trying to flag him down.

I will add the place wasn’t particularly full, but it seemed like they had one bartender and one server for the entire place. Pretty sure the server was also doing double duty in the kitchen since he frequently disappeared in there for periods of time.

Definitely...

Stopped through Sturgeon Bay on the way to Fish Creek, headed to the Door County Beer Festival. The service was immediate and friendly, the cheese curds were cheesy. Our food came out pretty quickly and was very good. There is typical bar food here. We stopped by on a rainy Friday afternoon and thought it would be a lot of fun to come here while the Packers were playing football on the TV. Stop by hand have a brick lot burger if you’re in the area.

I had a brisket sandwich with swiss and mushrooms and added onion rings for upcharge . . . amazing Rings! Not since Butch's Anchor Inn in Oshkosh in 60's & 70's have I had as good. I hope it wasn't a fluke because I will be back soon to have more. My wife had a BYO burger - both were very good. Staff were great - owner came out to make sure we were having a good experience. Try this place out, it was a good ending to an amazing day in Door County!

As you can see from the picture, the food was absolute horrible and overpriced. We visit the area each year and try to find new places, we will never come back to this place. We only saw our waitress a couple times throughout the longer than anticipated wait time for our food. Do not waste your time here, so many better places in the area.
