Kent Memorial Library — Attraction in Suffield

This library was built in 1972. The original library at a different location was built in 1899. This is a beautiful library with ample parking and a courtyard. There was an elevator and ramps inside the building.

I visited the children's section which was all the way up the ramp behind the front desk. The children's area was nice and spacious. They had a train table, a table with a couple of toys, a toy kitchen, a puppet stage, computers/tablets, coloring station, and various of other toys. There were seats and tables. I didn't see any self checkouts, I really like those. They had a nice selection of books. Like other libraries they offer tons of resources...

This is a really awesome spot, and probably the coolest building i’ve ever been in. Very cool market across the parking lot as well. I looked at the few low reviews here, and it was funny to see that someone complained about the staff being loud. This unfortunately is true, so I’d wear headphones if you come here to focus.
