Food is good but coffee is incredibly mediocre. I say this as a cold coffe drinker. I prefer cold brew and they surprisingly do not make any. So the only cold options left are very overly milky lattes or unflavored ice coffe that they flavor with sugar syrup. No thank you. I find it staggering that a coffe shop does not offer flavored coffes hot and cold as standard menu items. Food however is generally very good here. Breakfast sandwich are tasty, baked good have always been good in my experiences as well. I personally enjoy their acai bowls for breakfast. The only food problem is with who makes it. I have had to send food back because I received half a portion on my acai bowl. I've also turned down food mid order because I've seen a staff member wipe their ungloved hands on their dirty pants then proceed to handle food with the same ungloved hands. Atmosphere of the cafe is clean but generic without any real character. Everything is white without any decorations. Seating is fine. Nothing wrong, cleainess is most important in a restaurant. My hope is that when they finally open their East Windsor location they keep their word on serving popular items there like the cold brews...
Read moreThis review is based on my casual experience ordering a cappuccino and a pastry, looking for somewhere to have a quick bite and to enjoy a high-quality espresso drink. The staff is so lovely— very polite, smiling, and helpful. The cafe has a bright, lighthearted atmosphere with various seating styles (high top tables, regular tables, and cozy armchairs) and board games available. Would definitely come back here to meet someone to socialize, or to try something on their food menu beyond the pastries. However, the quality of my cappuccino did not meet my expectations. I ordered a small cappuccino with oat milk— the milk wasn’t frothed correctly, and maybe the type of oat milk they used wasn’t Barista grade, so overall it tasted watery and I couldn’t taste any coffee/espresso flavor. I think the lackluster coffee was a result of a lack of barista training, not a lack of effort :) The barista was very sweet, and I’m sure if I had said that I didn’t like the coffee, they would have made me something different. But, I didn’t want to be fussy. So, overall, I would definitely come back and try something less complex like an iced coffee, and try some of the savory dishes listed on...
Read moreMy partner and I stopped by this place the other day just to grab a quick coffee for our afternoon walk and were actually BLOWN away by the flavors of our drinks and sandwiches!!! I tried the s’mores specialty latte and he tried the maple vanilla specialty latte. We absolutely LOVED them! The flavors were strong and sweet and I can’t wait to order coffee here again :)) I was also pleased to see that they have gluten free bread, as it’s sometimes difficult to find gf options at small cafe type places. We loved our sandwiches - another 10/10 - we tried the egg salad and the turkey sandwich. The onions were the freshest I think I’ve ever had, making the sandwiches super delish! They also have an entire gelato menu and a ton of flavors as well as acai bowls?! I’ll definitely be going back to try some different items. 10/10, a little pricey, but definitely stop by when you’re...
