Zanto Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Suffield

This was one of the recommendations given by some locals. At first glance it would like any other. The menu didn't seem to indicate anything different. I'm a big pesto fan, so seeing that on the menu that's what i'm getting. I don't recall if I knew it was a wrap but it was fine just the same. Upon arrival of the wrap it fun l didn't look like your typical chicken pesto. I had great expectations, I guess I always do. The chicken was excellent, very tender and moist. The pesto on the other hand was non existent. I didn't really get a taste of it. Now aside from that it was a rather good wrap. I know this is a one of experience, so I can only review from what I know. If the change came around to eat here again I would welcome it. Whether I get the pesto again or something else, I'd like to see how they do with...

I’ve had great experiences at Zantos for lunch—their salads are fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes for a pleasant dining experience.

However, my recent dinner visit was disappointing. The chicken Parmesan tasted like a frozen cutlet, and the sauce didn’t seem fresh. My bruschetta appetizer was served on soggy bread, which took away from the flavor. Additionally, both glasses of wine I ordered (two different types) had turned.

Given my previous positive experiences with their lunch offerings, I’d recommend sticking to their salads and lighter fare. I hope they can improve their dinner quality because the ambiance and service...

I went there this weekend with a friend. New to both of us. We both got different meals, her a salad and I had pasta. We both had a few bites of our lunch and then ordered to go boxes. I'm sorry to say the food was just blah. Tasteless, old, dry, just uck. We wanted so much to love it. Suffield is limited on restaurants and we were looking for a quaint, local cozy place to eat. It was empty in there and just chalked that up to a rainy day, but maybe not? Sorry Zanto, we won't be back, we really really wanted to love it there.
