Vadtal Dham Shree Swaminarayan Hindu Temple (SSAUSM) — Attraction in Sugar Land

Been to this temple today. Was very disappointed with the way the office person communicated with me. He was extremely rude. This is not the kind of attitude you expect from temple authorities. I was enquiring about the Kumbh- Jal that was going to be circulated among the devotees. Since the announcement was in Gujarati, I did not understand it well. The person announced that we could ask the volunteers about it outside the main hall. So I went to office to ask about it. This person in office was in complete denial and he refused to let me know where the volunteers would be. All the communication in this temple happens in Gujrati. My point- if you can speak Gujarati go here else find some other place to find your peace. You don’t want to go in a temple and feel frustrated and feel like you don’t belong there. I have been to other Swaminarayan Temples. Never had this kind of experience at any other place ever. The whole experience made me sad and extremely disappointed. Jay Swaminarayan 🙏 Vadtal Dham is like our second home in the town. This is the great place where we pray to our Lord Swaminarayan. We Learn and Teach our kids our values, Hindu traditions, religious knowledge and about our culture. Every Saturday we have satsang sabha, kids Gujarati and religious classes, Arti-Puja and maha Prashad. We are building a big temple here to teach, learn and maintain our values. We are also building big community hall and commercial size kitchen. Vadtal Dham temple also participate in lot of community charity events and donate in the food drives and support needy people.

We have lots of opportunities to do Seva and Satang. Devotees of the VadtalDham Temple are very friendly and welcoming.

I strongly recommend each and everyone to come for prayer and bring your kids as well so they can also learn our values and culture.
