I recently went to see the Sulphur Springs Community Theater presentation of "Harvey." Very small intimate venue but it only enhanced the viewing experience. It was comfortably cool inside on this warm Sunday afternoon Matinee and last showing. The quality of the actors surprised me to the point I forgot I was in a very small town and even smaller venue compared to that of the East Coast Broadway venues I've experienced in my many travels. But because it's a small non-profit community group with dedicated volunteers, the props, lighting and the sound booth were very impressive. They are taking donations if you are unable to volunteer or perform. Nevertheless, management and director are doing a fantastic job with what they have to work with at this time. With the A.C.T program, they have also opened up their accessibility to those with disabilities that make it difficult to memorize lines or sing etc...
