We had chili rolleno stuffed with chicken, & fish tacos. Overall, the food was tasty & the prices are reasonable. But the chili rolleno was smothered in a ridiculous amount of melted sour cream cheese sauce. Way too much in my opinion, it was spilling over the edge of the plate, and detracted from the flavor of the chili rolleno. The fish tacos presentation/taste was good. Service was quick, but the servers seemed a little distracted and aloof when we first walked in. Would be nice to have a list or chalkboard showing the draft & bottled beer choices, or any wine or cocktails. Menu shows only the soft drinks. I had to ask my server a couple times what are the beer choices because I couldn't hear her, she was looking away from me in the opposite direction while she was reciting the list. Decor was lacking, atmosphere was drab. Nothing other than the solitary peacock painted on one red brick wall and "Los Mochis" painted on another. Floor is bare concrete. We'll probably go back and give them another try. But, with so many good restaurants/bars around Sulphur Springs square, I think they should try to do a little better.

This area of Sulphur Springs was a nice surprise - classic old town that's been restored and rejuvenated, and the place is bustling. Los Mochis is a nice place, we have 3 plates of tacos and a plate of queso topped soft tacos.. all were good. We were a bit bummed they were out of Al Pastor but the Fajita Beef tacos were legit.. the Carnitas was good, but tasted more like really good stewed, shredded pork than a traditional Carnitas (no citrus flavors or crispy bits from making true carnitas). Overall it was a nice meal, though the pricing was a bit high for rural town (4 small street tacos were $18, no sides).. but it was a welcome find on a long road trip back home. Not sure if we'll stop by Los Mochis again but will definitely be going back to check out other places in this area.

Nothing really standout, just very… “ok” I guess. Chips looked dark, was worried they were burnt but they were pretty good. Salsa was IMO too much mater, not enough peppers. No spice to it really. Ok second time trying this place.. it must only survive because of location.. it’s 100% NOT the food.. had chicken breast on rice n queso on top.. just eehhhh.. not good 🤷🏻 the food is just tolerable at best. 1rst visit—>Nothing was bad, nothing was great. Im leaving feeling like I just consumed to consume. I have lunch tacos upgraded to fajita beef. Everything was just ok. I will look for another Mexican place to eat but would settle on here if I can’t find anything better.

🌟 A Hidden Gem That Delivers Big Flavor and Heartfelt Hospitality! 🌟

From the moment we walked into Los Mochis, we were greeted with warmth and genuine smiles that set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The service? Impeccable. Attentive without being intrusive, the staff made us feel like honored guests rather than just customers.

Now let’s talk about the food—because wow. Every dish was a celebration of flavor and freshness. The fajitas sizzled with bold seasoning, the tacos were layered with rich, authentic taste. Let’s just say we’re already planning our return just for that and dessert. Portions were generous, beautifully plated, and clearly crafted with care.

The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between cozy and vibrant. Whether you're there for a family dinner, a casual lunch, or a festive night out, Los Mochis wraps you in comfort and charm. And the bar? A lively spot for social hour with top-notch margaritas and frosty beer mugs that practically sparkle.

Los Mochis isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a place where great food meets great people. If you're anywhere near Sulphur Springs, do yourself a favor and make this your next stop. You’ll leave full, happy, and already dreaming about...

I'll start with the good, the food was great. The Los Mochis queso is actually really good compared to other places in town that seem to just melt some Velveeta. All food ordered was actually very tasty and well cooked. The issue was the service. Not just our server, but the entire place. I will grant you that it was very busy, and they seemed understaffed, but there was zero communication about it. We received part of our food, but the rest was sitting in the window. I have fajitas...but only fajitas. My tortillas and set-up didn't come until someone from my table went and got them and also got the rest of their food. We also got our own refills. Like I said, the food was great and I absolutely understand being understaffed and busy. But the staff never mentioned it, never apologized for me waiting almost 10 minutes for tortillas, getting a bowl of queso and never getting chips. If they had just communicated with us I would have given the place 5 stars. But unfortunately our experience was not...
