I originally decided to shop at this store knowing I would pay a little more but Sugar Babies is a small business and I like to keep my money local and enjoy helping out a small business. I purchased a City Mini GT from this store well aware that this store does not except returns. After I purchased my new stroller for $349.00 I was not expecting to have any problems unfortunately, the front wheel fell off my stroller with my infant in the stroller. I called Ashley at Sugar Babies hoping she would be able to help me with this issue. Ashley was more than willing to help me and even called the maker of the stroller for me (Baby Jogger). I was requesting a different stroller model as I feel that when I spend that kind of money I should not be faced with these kinds of issues. Ashley told me that if I were able to get a new stroller from Baby Jogger that she would take in my new stroller into inventory and let me exchange for a different brand. After about a weeks’ time Baby Jogger gave me the new stroller when I called Sugar Babies to see if the offer still stands I was told by Ashley that it would only count if I took a stroller from what they had in stock. They didn’t have the stroller color I wanted in stock and I was told that she will not order one for me. I do not think that I will be returning to shop at this store because I feel that Ashley should have followed through on what she originally told me, when we had our original conversation never did she mention that I had to choose from what she had in stock. I do understand that she is a small business and needs to think of her business but in this case I do not feel that I the customer...

We really enjoyed visiting this store. They seem to have everything that we wanted - we even purchased our Chico car seat from them because we had been told that the owner was a certified installer and would install it for us. However, during the purchase, the clerk boxed up the floor model, and sold it to us at full price. It wasn't until after paying that we realized what had happened. When we confronted her about it, she said that it had only been on the floor for a few days and was good as new. Accepting that, but still a little upset about no discount, we asked for them to install it. The same clerk that had previously told us that they would install the car seat now said that they don't do that. Seriously?! Later that week, we installed it ourselves, and looked at the expiration date in the process. Much to our surprise, the car seat was MANUFACTURED IN 2012!!!! With the 6-year expiration on these seats, it was halfway through its "life". Since we planned to keep it for our next child, this was unacceptable. When we called to bring this to their attention and ask for an exchange, the person on the phone said that they do not do refunds.

DO NOT purchase from this store. After our first visit we recommended them to all of our friends as the local alternative to Babies-R-Us or Amazon, but their customer service and return policy is unacceptable and we will not shop...
