Bell's Appliance Parts & Repair Center — Attraction in Sumter

Called on Wednesday to see if they could come out Friday to look at my wonky acting refrigerator. Wasn't looking for same day service. No problem, they said. I took the day off, mostly to get this taken care off, which I mentioned to them. Well, on Friday 1 PM came around and nothing, so I called. Oops,they forgot!!! He remembered me, and had the service ticket in front of him. He, whom shall remain nameless, 'cause I'm nice like that, said they would call a tech that's out to see if he could do it, if that wouldn't work, he'll get his brother to come out, but he'll call me right back and let me know. Well, 3 PM, and nothing. I call back again, and, oops (also again), got too busy, and forgot to call me back. But his brother was on another call, and would come out right after that. Well, at 4 PM I get a call where he states that they are not going to make it today, and that he has a suggestion for another service. At that time we all know it would be very hard to have someone come out, and on a Friday at that! On top of that I really didn't get any type of a decent apology. I can't speak for their actual work, and now I will never now, because I will never utilize them, but their customer service is...

Sold a broken washer and dryer. Within the first week the dryer went out. They do not repair in the home, which I should've known then to just give everything back to them. I had to pay them to come pick it up to take back to the store so they could look at it. It was fixed and within a few weeks it went out again. Now it's passed 30 days it went out AGAIN. Now I have to find someone with a truck and who's able to take it back to the store plus pay a $25 "drop off fee" just for them to look at it (First time hearing of this fee), then whatever the charge will be to fix it... Now my washer has completely fell apart.. I've barely had them for 2/3months and have yet been able to get through one full session to wash and dry without something going wrong. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR PURCHASE OR REPAIR.... MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN...

EDIT: The part was not here the next day which is fine, but it was on back order, which is fine it was a filter and special screws. The filter came in, but not the screws and I said Id rather leave the filter there until the screws come in so I don't forget . Couple weeks later I dropped by to check (I had called in the mean time and no answer) and the worker said I had already picked them up and accused me of stealing. I spent $100 and I have no filter, no screws, and was accused of stealing.
