Reliable Pawn Shop — Attraction in Sumter

Hello I used to go to this pawn shop on the regular basis whenever I need help that's the reason why I come to a pawn shop now I may not get the best customer service but these folks here at reliable were very nice to me always gave me the benefit of the doubt and I've always paid them on time so when I decided to go use them again I dealt with an extremely lazy mean didn't want to help customer customer service rep on July 19th 2022 Monday morning right at 10:00 when it open all I wanted was customer service and the rep in there all he did was reflect every question I had to get me out of his face so I felt like this needed to be put in here because when people come to a pawn shop we don't come to be pampered you come for help so when someone is being rude and nasty because they know that we or I need help then they're taking advantage of someone at their weakest point so since you want to do that I can write a Yelp review and I'm going to Google to do the same thing this employee was a male he worked this Monday morning July 19th...

Went there today and asked the guy what he knew about a guitar I wanted to use for collateral. He told me he had no idea about any make or models and was clearly lost when it came to my guitar. The market value is around $1500. I wanted to borrow $100 but I knew in order to get that I had to ask for more. A lot more. So I dropped $400 in conversation. He immediately goes to the internet. It took him about 30 minutes, but he was able to de-value my instrument down to the ridiculous price of $200. Why? Because he found 2 sales where some crackhead sold one for $200. And that was the price we had to dicker over. Like I said, I went there to get a measley $100 to buy some groceries and gas until my paycheck hit. Its been a slow month...anyways. after the same ole story of asking prices ebay...we've heard it before and how worthless my guitar was, he said he could give me $75. I am Mexican American. I have been reading the previous reviews from other customers and frankly I'm disgusted. There has been multiple ethnicities in the store on many different visits I have made. I have seen the staff treat everyone like a customer regardless of color. I also have seen them refuse to do Business with bad customers regardless of color. Including myself. If these people emulated any kind of racist behavior, they would not be in business today. Pawn shops are in the business of making a profit. If you don't like the price they offer you, try another pawn shop and I'll bet you get a similar offer. Please don't try to ruin someone's reputation simply because either you didn't get your way or you were...
