What a great little place here in downtown Sumter! I’m so excited to find this store. They specialize in romance novels and the very first thing you see as you walk in. Is this big glass display with cat condos and cat toys and cute little kittens on display. They partner with a local shelter and help to get the kittens fostered or adopted. They have a great selections of wines as well as mimosas and beer on tap. There is a lot of seating and some great activities so you really need to check it out on Facebook. They have Wine and paint as well as other activities. Samantha was such a great resource of information about the wine bar/book store. What caught our eyes was the big window with two cats hanging out in there cat condo. The store sponsors local cats from Windy ridge rescue. After dinner I decided to finally stop by this bookstore it’s been on my agenda to do so. I enter the store for the first time, hanged around the front of store. No one greeted us. Everyone was shut off towards the back of the store. Didn’t ask what we were looking for or if we needed any help. No sort of hospitality. Which was very disappointing the big reader that I am I was excited to support a non franchise business but I left feeling unwelcome and out of place. In spite reading being my happy place.

This is such a cute store for downtown! We were already headed in but walking to it, the store front is so inviting! They have kittens for adoption! It's the sweetest way to get attention. Everyone was so friendly and the ambiance is so nice and cozy with that old-school feeling. When you walk in there's a super cute spot to sit and read or for a book club. All the people working were welcoming. I asked for a faerie themed book and the person that helped me gave me some great suggestions before I settled on the book below. I cannot wait to see what activities they have planned for patrons! When they get wine we might just be in trouble because wine, vibes and books are just gonna make me feel as if I've died and...
