Lovely place to walk around on a Saturday morning. It can get crowded in the main area on Murphy, so if you have a young child I'd suggest wearing a carrier over a stroller.

The produce prices are the same or more expensive than at the grocery store so don't go expecting the kind of farmer's market where you save money buying straight from the source. However the produce does look quite beautiful.

There are plenty of produce stalls to choose from as well as prepared food such as crepes and kettle corn. There are also bakery stalls with beautiful breads. There used to be a flower booth that wrapped in newspaper so you could avoid wasting plastic like in a grocery store, but at my recent visit I saw that all the flower stalls just had flowers in plastic just like at a normal store. Very...

I don't come here often but today I did and I was surprised at how big and popular this market has become. Do yourself a favor and come early or not at all; the parking lot in front of Macy's is totally full by noon. I drove around the lot until I got dizzy, finally found a spot and hurried to the Oaxacan Kitchen truck; they are pretty awesome: they are catering and organizing cooking classes. From their menu: molotes (a sort of empanadas), tamales, vegetarian and vegan burritos, breakfast burritos, quesadillas, empanadas, super yummy vegetarian tostadas and amazing mole sauce. I also bought Thai eggplant and basil, some of the first apples of the season from my favorite booth, Prevedelli Farms and a few more things. I love this market but next time, I'll ride...

Lots of variety of food ready to eat, other food products, produce, and even a knife service (Finest Edge, who is there occasionally). We love going to the Farmer's Market. I even appreciate the new layout during COVID, allowing Murphy Ave to seat people outside on the street.

What I am not a fan of is how cramped and understaffed many of the produce vendor's stalls are. People not social distancing or wearing masks properly and no security or enforcement on behalf of the city to make sure they do. If the event or the city really wants to perfect this, they should enforce these things to help others feel safer. I personally feel like I'm on alert the whole time as I'm watching for people who aren't practicing proper safety...

Every Saturday morning at the historic Murphy Avenue there is a Farmers Market. From fresh fruits and vegetables to dried fruits and nuts there is a wide variety of stalls. Local vendors selling small batch products from dips and snacks, to bakers selling fresh croissants and desserts, local cheese producers to olive oils and cold cuts. Many food stalls selling corn of cob to jacket potatoes and falafels. Great place to spend a Saturday morning strolling and sampling. Loved the fresh florist stall with beautiful bouquets of flowers. A must visit and it’s a wonderful gesture to promote local farmers and artists.

I came to collect swag for “Bike to Wherever Days” organized by the Silicon Valley Bicycle coalition. This farmers market is a great space for community gathering as well as buying fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods, cheese, eggs, jams, hummus, and more. There’s also a variety of prepared food at the market and in neighborhood restaurants if you want to eat breakfast or lunch there.

Great food vendors and small arts and crafts and plant stands and many free samples with many vendors. Great fruit and veges that are fresh and the oranges and grapefruit and cherries and blueberries are great and from local farms. Oaxacan food and dressed up potatoes and lots more. Nearby boba tea and mochii place plus live music! Fun for the whole family!
