Swansboro Municipal Park — Attraction in Swansboro

We visit this park often and it is a favorite of the parents and the kids in our social circles. The bathrooms inside the rec center are always quite clean when we visit. The outside bathrooms are also well maintained. This is a very safe, clean playground, with some really fun and unique equipment. This is the absolute best park to go to when it's a hot day because you get the lovely breeze off the water. It can be chilly in winter. Bring a blanket if you'll be sitting watching your kids play! My kids often make quick friends with kids they don't know here, and it's neat that so many regulars here are this type of friendly personality type. My favorite thing about this park is probably that the staff are lovely. We've been at area parks where the staff have been rude to kids or parents, sadly. This is definitely the best eastern NC playground and park we've been to. *I would love to see the skatepark back in operation. If there was a way to crowdfund a skatepark here that would be safer and sustainable, I think it would be very successful and supported by many...

This park has everything for the family. Various play structures for little and big kids. They also have shaded seating for the parents, so that (in my opinion) makes this park stand out from the rest. They also have a splash pad and very open format. Meaning parents can sit on any of the seated, shaded swings or areas and see their kiddos . Not to mention, they have grills and benches as well as a few exercising structures for adults. 10/10...

Awesome amazing park dog park here 3 or 4 different children's parts there's workout equipment for adults. This is a great place to take the family for a relaxing day or for the splash pad for some excitement period there are plenty of places to catch some shade and also possibly lay out a towel and catch some rays. just to enjoy the time you have with your family, And that shouldn't have to...
