Wapato Lake is a restored historic lake located in what became parts of Washington County and Yamhill County in the U.S. state of Oregon. The area was sometimes known as Wapato Lake Bed and Wapato Flat. The lake is located about a half mile east of Gaston at 55 metres elevation.

Great park, beautiful lake with maintained path around it. Small playground for smaller kids, plenty of parking with a police station next door. I don’t think it could be any safer. Great place to stretch your legs on a sunny afternoon in the Pacific Northwest.

Wapato park is a nice little park in south Tacoma. There is a dog park, a small play area for kids, lots of different trails, a lake, and even a covered area with picnic tables and a place to bbq. Not the cleanest park and can sometimes be a little sketchy.

Great place to stretch your legs, when I want to unwind this is the place. 18 minutes to walk around, I usually make 2 trips. Pleasant place, plenty of parking.

Has been one of my favorites growing up.but this year she is at an all time low level….the stones from the lake floor r now up & out.Turtles have had to change there entire main location. The hawks r fishin like crazy cuz the trout & bass aren’t able to stay deep enough. It’s kinda...
