Pho Ever Tacoma — Restaurant in Tacoma

Admittedly, I don't have a wide range of experience with phö... so, to a degree, to each his own. The restaurant was clean, and the service was good. The servings seemed a little skimpy compared to other phö restaurants I have visited. I didn't personally care for the flavor of the broth, but I'm willing to concede that is simply personal preference. It did have flavor, so it was not that it was watery; it just didn't suit me personally. The pricing was reasonable. I'm not entirely sure that they got my order correct because I should have had raw beef in my bowl… And everywhere I've ever ordered that, the beef arrived no more than medium, and in most cases, medium rare. This arrived fully cooked, so I question whether it was prepared in advance and overcooked. Since I ordered a combination of ingredients (raw beef, brisket, flank), it could very well have been omitted altogether. Either way, it was not what I expected. Between the portion size, the assumed mistake on my order, and the odd flavor of the broth, I can only give it three stars. In a pinch, it will do, but given sufficient time, it's worth it to me to drive the extra mile to Phö 38th over...

I've been here dozens of times over the last few years. The food is great, they're open until the wee hours of the morning and usually my food shows up super quick after ordering. I came in last night around midnight, (it's awesome having the place mostly to yourself) ordered my food and waited. A few other customers came in, were seated promptly and began their ordering process as well. Shortly after, 3 obnoxious, rude, unintelligent and ugly guys came in and began verbally harassing every table in the joint. Cussing loudly, ordering the cheapest things on the menu, then complaining about them and making that literally one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences of my life. Now, I understand there's only so much you can do about unruly customers, but the employees literally did nothing. I could tell they were also annoyed but at no point did they ask these kids to quiet down, mind their mouths or leave. Needless to say, this isn't the first time I've seen this kind of situation unfold here, so I'll be finding another late...

It's a hit or miss really. Sometimes the food is amazing, other times, they forget to put certain things in my order. I order to-go a lot and my word of advice is to check your order before leaving. One time I was missing half of my order and didn't even realize it until I got home, finished eating and couldn't figure out what was missing. I told the lady at the front desk and she just apologized and said that I should just check before I leave next time 😕 oh well I guess.

There was this one girl there that I haven't seen in a while that always made sure we were taken care of and stuff whenever we ate there and even on out to-go orders but I haven't seen her in a long while.

I love the hours and the location.

The food is okay at best.

Prices are fair.

Would recommend it if you're looking for a place to hit up at 2am for food. I would also recommend that you check your orders before leaving if you're ordering out.
