I usually don't write reviews...but I just had what I thought was a great shopping experience. Turns out I was led into believing something that was untrue. I went in to the store last night after working a full retail shift during the holidays and running on very little sleep. Needless to say I was very out of it. I was looking for some Leadbelcher paint, they didn't have it in stock. Understandable, I work retail I know how inventory can be especially during the holidays. Steve comes up and asks if I need any help, and I respond with "No I was looking for some Leadbelcher but you don't have it in stock." He recommends a paint, Iron Warriors, that he says in very close and it would be hard to tell apart. I was ecstatic! Fast forward a day, I start painting and I open up the paint he recommended get it on my Orc Lineman and it is SOOO Dark. I compare it to my throwers color and it is a night and day difference. I was looking for more contrast from the black boots to the iron plates on the toes. I couldn't be more devastated. I feel like he was just trying to make a sale on someone that was visibly out of it and not looking out for the the person who said they were new to the hobby. I will not be shopping here again. I keep my business at Terra Crux and Games Matrix if I am ever...
Read moreI travel a lot for business and had sometime yesterday, Friday, 9 Sep 2024 to stop by and use the Warhammer gift card my wife gave me for Valentines Day. When I got to the store @ 1:45 pm it was closed with no sign on the door. This has happened at same store before and I get very frustrated. I believe this is because only one person works the store all of the hours store is open. I called today to make sure store was open and after manager called me back he stated he put a note on Facebook the store would be closed yesterday. I would suggest leaving a link to FB page on the door at all times so potential customers know the correct FB with information. I have searched FB and still can’t find the message about store being closed yesterday, 9 Feb 2024. My second suggestion is to develop a store “Gretchen” program to train a couple of loyal customers to fill in when manager is not able to open store. You could either pay them or offer them a generous discount for their service. As a stock holder in other companies, I would be livid knowing that a store producing income and revenue for company and investors is closed. I wonder how many working days this store is...
Read moreIf you've ever been interested in getting into the Warhammer universe, this is the place to go. Came in on a whim when visiting the area and going to the Winco nearby. The manager Steve instantly welcomed me and showed us around, was super helpful and fun to talk to. You'll see a similar theme in the other reviews, he is really a cool guy. The store has Age of Sigmar, Warhammer 40K, and even a Lord of the Rings tabletop game, as well as a selection of paints and a Warhammer novel section. There are some tables and really cool terrain, and Steve said he hosts painting sessions and teaches as well. The store is truly keeping the hobby alive...
