We were so disappointed today with our experience at All Things Tea. We traveled about 1.5 hours to have a tea party here for my daughter’s 3rd birthday. We had high hopes and it looked adorable.
The issues started as soon as we pulled up. First, the parking is awful. Second, my mother has to use an ECV due to being handicap. Not only was there no handicap parking, someone had parked on the ramp and we had to search to find another access for my mom. We finally found one at the very end of the building. My wife went inside the business to see if they could somehow help or figure out who/why someone was parked on the ramp and she was told “well I’m the only one here. What do you want me to do about it?” This came from a girl who was working at a coffee shop inside. Truly— we should have just left then as that’s how they treat customers.
Third, when we walked into the building— it was super hot. We were hoping that maybe the other side of the building would be cooler. We got to All Things Tea and it was still miserably hot. We were not told until we were seated that their air conditioning had went out early this morning. We maybe lasted about 30 min because we were all sweating and miserable. Who wants to drink hot tea in a hot building with no air?
This was disheartening— especially because we travelled. People who had reservations today should have been contacted about the air situation when they knew it wasn’t working. We should have been given the choice to reschedule or be refunded.
This was not enjoyable and I hate that we had to rush due to the fact it was miserable. I feel we wasted our money and our time and it was not the experience we expected.
Needless to say, we...
Read moreAs a former owner of a strip mall I always wonder who in their right mind chose a location with 12 parking spots, parking alone will drive you mad.
Not a traditional antique mall by any means, tries very hard to be upscale but with half the store taken up by one vendor of outdated, unpopular old stuff and a tea shop, and the rest mostly Made In China fakes, repro, not antique items like socks and toys (booth by the front door sells strictly reproductions you can buy yourself cheaper online) they don’t even try to hide it. It’s fake reproduction glass. It baffles me this place stays afloat with the prices. There are a couple cool vendors but most of the booths are not selling antiques or artisan and the ones that are will charge a...
Read moreI absolutely love coming here! Rabbit Creek Market is truly one of a kind and I’m so happy that Tallahassee has a place like this for shopping. Whether treating myself or getting gifts for loved ones, there’s truly something uniquely special for everyone. There is such a vast amount of inventory and fantastic vendors that I have happily spent hours here just browsing. The tea room is the perfect place for a party or a unique date with friends (hello, Bridgerton themed brunch!) The employees and ladies at checkout are always lovely, helpful, and kind. Rabbit Creek Market is hands down one of my favorite Tallahassee shops and a must visit if you’re...
