This was the worst Thai restaurant I have ever been to! I ordered the Masaman Curry and it was terrible. The potato was crunchy/raw and unclean (still had a root), the baby carrots weren't even cut... they were straight from a bag, and the peanuts were just whole boiled peanuts tossed in. The curry itself was Watery and I mean really really watery. Honestly I'd be surprised if there was even a 1/4th cup of coconut milk in the curry. After eating what I could before my stomach hurt from the uncooked potato I got the bill. I noticed everything was $1 higher than what the menu said. I was going to complain but I saw a tiny sign at the front that said "Starting July all dinner items are going up $1"... why not write that on the menu. They penciled in other prices there, why not this too. Instead of complaining, I handed my credit card and they ran it. They came back and I noticed it was more than the bill... now they said they charge 4% more for credit card purchases. Is that even legal? I was furious, now I'm even getting nickel and dimed for bad food... How shameful and deceptive. I left a good tip (20+%) because it wasn't the waitstaff's fault even though the server almost wouldn't let my wife order her food "Thai Hot" which let me tell you, isn't very hot. I will NEVER be back and honestly hope people read this and stay away. PS. To the table to the right who it was their first time getting Thai food, if you are reading this, please try other places, Thai food is normally so wonderful and...

Pretty interesting menu and the chef is really friendly. Reangthai is frequently called one of the best Thai places in Tallahassee, if not the best. To be fair, there aren't really a lot of Thai places here, so the selection is limited.

My coworker and I came here one night because she raved about the food. I ordered the Thai shrimp with extra vegetables and my coworker ordered the salmon. I usually get curry when I get Thai food (I know, how stereotypical) but I decided to try something else this time.

The shrimp was pretty good. I quite liked the flavor and it wasn't too spicy or oily. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. My coworker let me try her salmon and it was pretty good, though it lacked real flavor.

The special hot sauce was really good. I guess they make it in-house.

The service was almost awkward at times, though. The waiter was really pushy with me and it made me SUPER uncomfortable. Initially I wasn't sure if my coworker and I were meeting there, which I expressed to him when I sat down.

"Oh, well, you should stay anyway. This is the best Thai in Tallahassee!"

Well, it might be, but the constant mentioning of it got to be pretty annoying. Also I'm pretty sure I overheard him talking about me when he left my table, so....well, you figure it out. I don't really think that's appropriate at all.

Honestly, I probably wouldn't go back here. Food was decent, but nothing to write home about. Service was 2.5 stars at best. I might come back to try the curry, but I'd probably...

I am a regular when it comes to Reangthai and I know chef Donna very well, I have never left a review because I don’t see the need to do so but recently I have been seeing some untrue or bad accusations upon Reangthai which makes me so sad to see donnas restaurant get. Me and Donna chat often because I see that she loves her customers very much and makes sure she takes care of all of their needs, she has told me that her grandmother has helped her with homemade Thai recipes and has been cooking all her life, that’s probably the reason this is my favorite food ever haha!! I’m serious guys when I say that the food Donna makes is INSANELY flavorful and delicious I mean it, people usually think that when it comes to Thai food that it’s just spicy but that’s not true! She has so many dish options that can be no heat at all or if you like heat she can make you start to sweat haha and oh my gosh don’t even get me started on her homemade ice cream, it’s dairy free, vegan, sugar free, AND LOW CALORIE like I just don’t even know how this woman can make something taste so good. Guys please don’t listen to any of the negative reviews and take my word that this is truly the BEST Thai food or food in general to ever have because it hurts me to see Donna struggle with all the negativity. I hope that you guys take my word and come support my absolute favorite soul...

This was the first time I've ever tried Thai food and it was probably the best way to experience it lol. The waiter was very friendly and nice. He ended up basically convincing us to get whatever he said lol (Guy coulda been a car salesman) And it was all amazing. We got the Chicken Satay appetizer and it was just really crispy and tender. The peanut sauce that came with it was very nice. And I ended up getting the Three River with mango, it comes with tilapia, scallops, shrimp, and some veggies. Everything was cooked to perfection... It was a mountain of food that could have easily fed 2 people and overall just some of the best food I've ever eaten. And to finish it off we ended up getting some durian ice-cream. It was some of weirdest ice-cream I've ever had before but also some of the best lol. So many wild flavors going on in it but it works out great. The owner was also VERY nice and she did a amazing job cooking everything and just making sure we enjoyed the food. HIGHLY recommend this place. Its the best little hole in the wall places and it would make for a nice little date night.

We found this restaurant through a recommendation at the Four Points Sheraton by the FSU campus. The restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall and there’s been a lot of care and love put into the restaurant by the owner, giving it a pleasing, homey atmosphere. The most impressive part was the service and FOOD. It was delicious! The server brought us out a complementary seasonal salad made of shredded pumpkin, cilantro, lime and garlic. Light, refreshing and scrumptious! My student companions ate chicken pad Thai which they loved and I had the beef salad. The beef was tender and the lettuce and veggies were all very fresh, coated with a spicy and delicious dressing. We topped it all off with sticky rice and mango. We REALLY enjoyed our meal and were disappointed to see that more people were not patronizing the restaurant on the Thursday night we were there as the quality was very good and the servers and chef/owner were very kind and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant when you’re visiting Tallahassee!

Wasn't particularly impressed. I dine out quite often and was underwhelmed. My kid's order was cooked incorrectly. (Fried insted of steamed, and they said it was the last dumplings they had so couldn't re-cook. Dumplings were over fried and served cool...even though they arrived 10 minutes after ordering.) My girlfriend's order was fine but unimpressive. Broccoli was near raw. My order was served cold (pork ribs) with some pretty foul complimentary wine. I also ordred the Pad Thai medium-heat spiciness and it wasn't spicy in the least. Atmosphere was decent; they did a lot of work at the eye-level to dress things up...but don't look up; enough dust & dirt to clog a Kirby. Also, they gave us like 10,000 spoons but all I needed was a knife. (No knife w/ my pork ribs.) Kinda pricy for food I presume was reheated - over $100 for 1 app, 2 dinners & 2 deserts. Waitress was wonderful and deserves zero blame, in my opinion.
