I did call ahead seating, when we were notified it was our turn we promptly proceeded to the hostess stand to be seated. The hostess that seated us did not seat us with any bread and she instructed that we ask her waitress for bread. After being seated for about 15 minutes and communicating with the table across from us about the lack of service, we both concurred that something was wrong. I went back to the hostess stand to check with the hostess and see where our waitress was as we have been seated for 15 minutes with no bread or drinks or having a server touch base at our table. The hostess concluded that the server had closed their section without notifying them so there was no server assigned to the section we were seated in. When I got back to my table there was a manager who was speaking with another server who volunteered to take our table as well as a table across from us since we had both been forgotten. The manager told my table and the table across from us that we could have an appetizer complimentary. The manager later brought both tables bread and the waitress took drink orders. Almost ten minutes passed and we were still waiting on our drinks, at which point I decided it was best for us to leave. To add context for my frustration the table behind us (an adult party of 2) had been seated after us and within this 30 minute time span was eating their meal as I was still waiting on a drink. For context for my party it was a party of 2 as well, we ordered a water and a sprite, nothing complex that would occur an additional wait such as a mixed drink. Also it is worth noting we were trying to dine at an off hour to avoid long wait times, this happened at approximately 3:40-4:20 time frame. I thought between utilizing the call ahead seating and trying to hit an off hour to dine I would have done my part to ensure a fairly smooth dining experience as I know restaurants continue to have staffing issues etc which play a role in the quality of customer service. However, I can see things were running fairly smoothly for other restaurants patrons considering the table behind us had been seated after us and was enjoying their meal as we left after 30 minutes without even a drink. Essentially the bare minimum of hospitality proved to be too much and the entire experience was rather disappointing. We have had previous poor experiences with this particular Texas Roadhouse however, we kept trying to give chances because when they get it right it is good! However, I feel this was a last straw experience and unfortunately we will not...
Read moreTexas Roadhouse where do I begin? Was there today for my son's birthday. Told the hostess and she asked my son was he ready to saddle up. Told my son that's what they did for birthday celebration. Well the birthday saddle up never happened and they were aware. We ordered the kids burgers and both were charred aka burnt. You literally had to pick the meat off the other side. Now I regret not taking a picture to post here. Also, it took a long time for us to get our food. Another couple came in after us, sat, ordered and received their meal to include eating their salads first. SMH. By the time our food arrived they were finished with their meals. It took so long for them to bring out the remake burgers, I started to cancel. Our waiter, Issac, was too busy picking up new customers and not doing a good job of following up with the ones already seated. We asked for BBQ sauce for chicken tenders and it was such a long wait that my son was practically done eating. Asked the young lady that was sitting folks at the table next to us for something because of how long it was taking our waiter and she told me she "was busy". Is that the Texas Roadhouse way? Btw, we're not the folks that expect the waiter to return every three minutes but I would expect not more than 15 mins. I also use to work as a waitress so I'm very understanding. I only asked her because our waiter took long disappearing acts between visits to the table. So much so, that I started placing our dirty plates on the table behind us to clear our table. Also, on two other separate visits, the baby back ribs were charred. I'm not one to post a review about everything so I'm including that in this review. It's to the point now I only order that from Long Horn Steakhouse. I refuse to ever think about ordering that from you all again. The uneditable food should have never made it to the table in the first place. I would think someone should recognize this and ask, would I serve this to my mother? Would I eat this? The atmosphere was decent but not our visit. I should have gone to Long Horn Steakhouse. Please don't respond if it's going to be the same...
Read moreUsed the online wait list. It was perfect for us, as we live about 45 minutes away. We were seated only 5 minutes after parking. Casey was our server & he was very pleasant. We ordered drinks. When Casey delivered our drinks quite a while after we ordered, he apologized for the delay. He took responsibility for the delay. That was a plus for us: he didn't try to pass the buck, but owned up to his mistake. The place was busy, so there was also a delay in receiving our food. My boyfriend ordered medium well steak, I ordered medium rare. His was a bit more well than he preferred. Mine was EXTREMELY well done, nowhere near medium rare. The plate was completely dry, no juices, and when I cut into the meat it was completely dry. I explained this to Casey & asked for a manager. It was comical that Casey asked if I wanted a replacement. 🤦♀️ Yes please. When the manager arrived, I expressed the online wait list was very successful for us, Casey was a pleasant, honest server. Then I explained the horrible steak issue and asked what he was going to do to correct the situation. His statement was "I will definitely take care of your check tonight". I didn't want him to think that I expected a total comp of the meal, and told him the salad and green beans I had eaten were delicious. He thanked me for being understanding, even though I had not had a good experience. When he returned, his idea of taking care of our check was a $30.00 'guest satisfaction certificate'. It's good for 90 days, can only be used as dine in, and excludes alcohol, taxes, and gratuities. So your response to a bad food experience in your establishment is to force me to return to your establishment, on your time schedule, to try again? I was in such a state of shock, and hunger, that I put it in my purse and left. I am VERY displeased with this 'solution'. Clay Parrish appears to be the manager's name. Texas Roadhouse, are you going to do anything to truly rectify...
