This is so sad because this hotel is VERY nice and has a lot of potential to be great...... Our room was so humid it felt like a rain forrest. Everything in the room was damp. Right out of the shower we felt we felt sticky and in need of another shower. We had to keep the ac at 65 to keep the humidity down. The door on the bathroom was not installed properly and it would not stay. It had to either be all the way open or all the way closed. The fridge on the lowest (warmest) setting froze our food making our fruit and veggies inedible. Our 2nd day there, 1 of their 2 elevators broke. It was a nighmare leaving for work in the morning with the rest of the extended stay guests with 1 elevator. So much so I started to just take the stairs up and down from our 4th floor room. To make the elevator fiasco even more fun, 2 motorcoach loads of people checked in midweek (I'll touch on these people again later). Saturday morning, the morning everyone is still asleep at 5am unlike DURING the week when everyone is up for work, the hotel thought it would be a good idea to do construction in room 420. There was extremely loud music and power tools coming from the room. I called the front desk and was told they're repairing a leak in the roof and apologized. That explains the big patch in our rooms roof too. As mentioned before, 50+ people arrived at the hotel and completely took over. Piled in the pool, taking up BOTH gas grills making enough food for an army with a giant loud radio. The kids of the group would run up and down the Halls screaming at all times of the night. The hallway was so filled with marijuana from room 411, I don't know how everyone on the 4th floor wasn't high. Even though multiple calls were made to the front desk, nothing was done and they couldn't care less. Breakfast was a free for all with this group. The breakfast area was completely overrun. These guests were stuffing food into their bags, backpacks and purses..... I didn't even try to get near the breakfast area. The staff was clearly scared to say anything to them. Probably for fear of ending up on social media in a negative light. We booked for 2 weeks and checked out a week early to go stay at a different non-hilton hotel right down the street. The week we were there we kept the "do not disturb" sign on the door as my wife was working from the hotel. Saturday, we we're leaving for the entire day. Friday we called down to be put on the "cleaning" list while we were out. We stripped the beds of all linens, grabbed all towels and trash and made a nice neat pile for the cleaning crew. We arrived back to our room Saturday night and the room was just how we left it. When we called the front desk we received yet another " we don't care" apology and were told to bring our linens down and get clean linens. Are you KIDDING ME! Unbelievable. As Hilton Honors Members not once did we feel welcomed. No one on the staff ever said hello or good morning or good night or do you need anything. We have literally never stayed at a worse hotel.

We chose this brand as we had a good experience at another location and it was close to USF . The staff was pleasant and did what they could to address our concerns . What we didn’t like : 1.The first room reeked . Kinda smelled like dirty dog . I applaud that Home2 welcomes our pets but perhaps they should replace rugs with vinyl flooring. I dropped something on the rug and wiped it up . Seriously , not more than a 4in wipe and the cloth was BLACK. We moved to another room the next day . I was initially ok with that room but my husband could still smell dog … I smelled it The next day 2. Gas smell by the pool ( guessed that it was from an industrial dryer ? ) . We were the only ones by the pool so don’t know if anyone else had the same experience . Moved to the patio but the smell kept wafting over and actually gave me a headache . The chair for use by those who are disabled was also less than secure . Looked like zip-ties were being used to prop it up 3. Have seen a lot of comments about the quality of the breakfast . Unfortunately, we didn’t have the same experience . This is a Hilton brand and I expected better

So I’m a business owner myself so I try to be as reasonable as possible and I only leave reviews when people just absolutely don’t care. Which is what happened in this case. I checked into this hotel after driving from Maryland. Initially, the hallway smelled really strong like they put some sort of bleach or something. Then we walked into the first room, which was room 209 The bed had old sheets with some sort of lotion on it. Called the front desk, they moved me to 212 and in that room, we found stains on the couches that are wet and the mattresses Have mold on them as you can see in the picture. At that point, I asked for a refund the A cleaning manager told me that it’s not your fault because these mattresses were here for 10 years. Usually Hilton’s pretty decent, but for this one I had to get a refund and leave. Do yourself a favor and don’t come here. I think they have a combination of bad management and carelessness

We have stayed at this location three times all three times there have been issues. The first time the pool was broken and not in use. There was no notice or warning of this. The next time they added a $10 parking fee to have a car on top of running out of all their supplies on the breakfast. After calling ahead and asking if certain items would be on their breakfast because my children have allergies, they still did not have the items they said they would. this time the parking lot is being repaved. There was no warning no notice traveling with children and pets we were told confusing information about where to park and how to park and went to park on top of paying a fee to park . They said they couldn’t block any of the exit off because they have to comply with state rules which makes sense but in essence if they’re paving outside of those exits and you can’t walk on it it’s essentially blocked When I brought this to the managers attention, she could care less what I have to say. She said she’s required to pave and she does not have to let the residence know. She said she’s not allowed to put a cone or tell people not to go out certain exits, but if they go out those exits, they’re walking on wet tar so in reality those exits are unusable. After we were told to park our car on the backside because there was no available parking. We are trying to load the car up the kids the pets and they put the wet tar down so in order to load the car up we had to jump off a 4 foot wall into the parking lot , after trying to explain to her that this is really dangerous if they just left a little 1 foot area for people to step off, it would be safer .The conversation was not productive at all. She really could’ve cared less what I had to say corporate ( a man named Peter) was there watching and lurking in the background, not saying anything. Very creepy . I asked him to be part of the conversation he walked away. so basically they don’t have to notify you when you make your reservation that work will be done. They’re not allowed to close the exit or put a sign up or an orange cone. They have to leave the exit open but once you go out the exit you’re locked out and can’t go anywhere because there’s wet tar in order to get away from the wet tar you have to jump off the 4 foot wall. . Then 10 minutes after the conversation my daughter went out to the lobby so we could drive the car around to the appropriate exit and corporate , the manager, and the receptionist were all talking about me in front of other customers and making derogatory remarks. Apparently she didn’t realize that it was my family sitting in the waiting room . This was the most unprofessional encounter...

I stay all over the nation ten months out of my year. Worst service in ten min I have ever had are far as customer service ,hotel itself was nice but .....I was there 10 min total for checking in , the hotel room didn't accommodate my needs after takimg a peak ,that simple ....we are here for two weeks, with four in our party and don't eat fast food junk daily , the lady that checked me in was very rude, she even made a point to hand everyone that checked in behind me and even in front of me a water, she never even offered me one ,her co worker Jim upon me leaving directly after seeing the room wouldn't work for us did , she had no desire to help change or realive this matter ,whatsoever, she also had no people skills whatsoever, (with me) , but she had them with everyone beyond me , it is ok I just made clear kindly it wouldn't accommodate us , still I received this ame attitude, to watch her hand out more water to guest, and tell me I had to wait as if I didn't matter again with pleasure on her face , when I told her the room wasn't what we requested, that I was willing to change it if i needed to ,to be comfortable for our group ,she argued with me as if It didn't matter again....Bottom line she made me feel as if what I needed wouldn't even be available to me but it I was a Hilton member it would have and she enjoyed it which is a sickness ,she clearly said after arguing with me with excitement, even if i did have it corrected per her , she wanted us to be uncomfortable ,we couldn't have the type of room we needed because we aren't members , we are members for other established Hotels and stay at just as nice hotels if not nicer definitely with better service!!! Why would want to be a member ?? I had been in my truck driving all day 10 hours to be exact , for this rude immature girl (makimg clear my 20 year old daughter is more mature with class ,she was at least 27 )told me when I chose to not stay ,( rebooking elsewhere )she made it a point to tell me I would be charged for not so much as using the toilet or a paper towel, merely looking at my room ,with expedia coverage (if we dont stay) seeing it didn't work and walking back out ????!!!! She clearly kept taking it too far, over it simply not accommodating my crew for our company,( a MISUNDERSTANDING HOURS AWAY FROM HERE ) it was a king bed and a sofa , stated full kitchen she told us no to full kitchen ?? She told us no to upgrading she wanted issues alp the way around, note: no matter how nice the hotel was , there are plenty of nice hotels without such horrible service , such an pretty face but her attitude made her...
