There’s so much wrong with this place it’s honestly sad. I love Wawa I always go to them and usually have a great experience. However at this location this one particular cashier is mind blowingly rude and unprofessional. The cashier in question is short with short hair probably in her 40’s with a darker complexion to identify her as she had no name tag on. To start there was a line building up at the regular register as she walked off. As I waited this poor guy infront of me had his card only take off a partial amount due to insufficient funds at self checkout (5/14/24 11:30pm) she made it such a big deal by huffing and puffing and rolling her eyes and I felt so bad for the guy. She made him come to a regular register and due to whatever thresholds they have, had to call a manager to over ride whatever was going on. Me and everyone else waited patiently as the line grew longer and longer. She not only kept looking up at the ceiling in an annoyed manner talking to herself she also told one customer who asked “where your help” “your mouth” she stated. Everyone in line started to feel uncomfortable. She continued to present no sense of empathy, urgency or care to anyone involved. She then finally sighed and said “fine who’s next” as she signed onto another register while the man just sat and looked at us. I’m not sure what’s going on in her life but it seems to be greatly affecting her performance at work. Disgusting, rude and outlandish behavior at work…. The manager didn’t help coming over saying “i ain’t got enough people to be doing all this”. I recorded the entire encounter start to finish on my phone and will be 10000% sending it to corporate. If Wawa knew this is how you guys were running a store they would not be happpy. It’s all on camera. Get it together this treatment/behavior is...
Read moreThis is by far the worst Wawa I've ever been to. The employees are, for lack of a better term, slow. Whether their doing a poor job preparing your food, struggling to refund your money because they're incapable of updating their computer system to accurately reflect their inventory, or just checking you out at the register, they move slowly and without purpose. I actually used to go to this Wawa all the time for no other reason than that it was the closest to my home. But following a series of disappointing experiences I feel like I can never go back there. It's honestly almost entertaining watching the people in there work. Watching them struggle to wrap up a burrito is like watching a child fumble with his shoe laces.
Yet somehow there are always people packing this Wawa. We've become so used to poor service and low-quality food for a cheap price that we all don't seem to mind that our time is being wasted by employees who mumble through their interactions with customers and rush through each order so they can get back to standing around with theirs mouths open as quickly as possible. Maybe this is the experience for...
Read moreBuyer beware of bait and switch at this location!! I love that Wawa does .15c off per gallon when bought through their app. I needed to get gas and specifically went to wawa bc of this special (I passed many other gas stations on my route). Gas was advertised on the big street sign at $4.49/gal. When I opened the app to buy my gas, it rang up as $4.79/gal therefore charging me $2.64/gal. When I informed store employees, they didn't care. I didn't have time to wait for a manager, so I tried calling the store as I drove away to speak with someone, to no avail. I called multiple times and no one ever answered.
We love Wawa as a family (our oldest even works for our local Wawa store), but I will never visit this location again. The customer service received when my family ordered beverages (a ridiculous wait time and never notified when 3 of the 4 drinks were ready), the the actual options available (very, very minimal options) and then the incorrect charge for gas is enough for me to rate this store a failing grade. Don't waste your time here. They clearly don't care about...
