North 30th Sports Pub & Grille USF — Restaurant in Tampa

03/03/2022 Had a family meeting. We ordered wings, fries, tots, and drinks. Everything was on point. The wings were good. The fries were not as crispy as I like them, but they were good. Destiny was our waitress. She was attentive and nice... very friendly! My cousin had the calamari. They were decent, my mom said her salad was good Updated review: I went back to a car show that was there... very nice classic cars. I'll go again and take pics. I heard that they have it monthly!!! This time around. My waitress was attentive. I was talking to the car guys so I didn't catch her name. I had a salad and fries. The salad was super fresh and the fries were perfection. I will literally go back for the extra crispy fries bc I'm greedy! 2 of the guys had burgers. One had a single the other a double. The one gave the single a 7/10, the other gave his double a 10/10. Another guy had wings and raved about them. This is definitely a hidden gem with good food!!!

Original review: I had a great experience. The restaurant was clean (bathroom included), the waitress was nice and got everything right. I ordered 10 wings... 5 mild and 5 spicy chili. They were both good, but the spicy chili was my favorite! I got them extra crispy and they were perfect. The fries I also ordered extra crispy and were good. The meal came with celery or carrots. I chose carrots, and they were fresh. I also ordered an old fashioned and it was just ok, nothing special, but I drank it. So you may ask why the 4 out of 5 stars... #1 bc my waitress wasn't attentive. I shouldn't have to wave you down and yell across the room for a refill on my drink. #2, I was there for a car show, so there were a few of us sitting together, and she charged gratuity to "some." I came a whole hour after everyone else and just sat with the crowd, so I didn't think that was fair. There needs to be some sort of consistency with that.

Always have a great time here, the serving staff are so sweet like one big family the turn over rate for them is low, so you get familiar with them & them with us. My husband helped remodel the building for the owner but we still of course pay for our meals & drinks that are made so great. The homemade or in house made potato chips are so awesome, Shrimp po-boy is again an awesome choice. Nachos loaded have alwasys been a great gathering friends & family choice that my kids just love. I don't remember off hand the exact count of how many tv's are there to entertain you on every & any sport but it is literally 360° entertainment, the patio is a great hang out for the "guys" or "gals" to cheer on your favorite team with the crowd it is such a fun experience, close to USF campus but yet in & around town you don't feel like you are around young'ens. The outside seating also has a great atmosphere that it's just as comfortable. Love coming here. Oh yeah little secret that the owner incorporated into the place there are hooks for purses under the tables so they aren't hanging on the back of a chair out in the open or taking up a seat or the floor, it is such a nice touch that you don't know you appreciate it until it is there for you. North 30th was a pleasant surprise. I have past by it many times but never stop. This place is a very chill laid back type of place. If your a sports fan and want good food & sports TV this is a great spot. In the heart of Bulls Country it definitely supports its local team. Now onto the food! Today I decided to go with their fried pickles and 20 wings. The pickles were really good and come with hefty serving. The wings were the highlight for me as they were cooked perfectly. The skin had a nice crisp and the meat was nice and juicy. They allowed me to get all flaps which was nice. It was a minimal upcharge but worth it to me. So many other restaurants will not allow you to order all flats or drummetts which is crazy. So definitely a plus for me that North 30th does. They have a great selection of sauces to toss your wings in. My choice of sauces were split 10 honey bbq and 10 Asian glaze. Both sauces tasted great but I definitely favor the Asian glaze. Folks this is a all around great sports restaurant to relax with some good food, drinks and lots of sports TV. Let me not forget North 30th has both indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of space.
