Le Salon Mia — Attraction in Tampa

This salon is very special and somehow I knew this, having googled “hair salons that are patient and good with elderly”- this salon came up first. I was in town only 2 days, having to find a place this past Thurs to take my 82 yr old nursing home resident mom to get serious hair repair (without cutting any). She has behavioral disabilities and doesn’t let anyone at the nursing home touch her hair. So on a walk in an hour after my advance visit, Dailyn/Emma were AMAZING! So wonderfully patient (she had a few outbursts) and WONDERFUL in giving her deep condition and luxury deranging treatment - Dailyn got quite a workout! Her hair was clean, cut and even blown dry within 90 minutes. It was a miracle for me how they were so gracious and attentive! They exceeded all of my expectations. I can’t all the salon specialists were friendly with my mom and me- and we don’t speak much Spanish, so were patient with that too! Please go to patronize this wonderful place! They are excellent in skill, kindness, and soul!...

Posting a 1 for horrible customer service. Had three appointments booked over the course of 3 hours and they could not follow through on any of them. We waited a half hour to be told over three conversations that they could not do any of the services booked. An hour and a half wasted in total with our driving time. In addition one of the staff was not even in for the day and there was no communication that their scheduling became compounded and couldn’t take clients.

I was told they couldn’t do bayalage as it would take too long and pointed to a girl that had been in the salon for several hours.

Make sure you read all the one star reviews here. You can get a good glimpse of the lack of professionalism. Note this review will probably have the owner saying ‘I don’t have you as a client...

Enma was incredibly perceptive and understanding as to what I wanted and needed for my cut and color. I had long blonde hair with A LOT of grey. She did highlights and lowlights plus bronzer to balance my blonde color and hide the grey completely! She also gave me a beautiful cut from long length to a mild A-frame bob with layers. I wish I had thought to take a picture. I was pleased beyond words that I actually gave her a small hug afterwards. :) Erika is a lash specialist there also and she applied a beautiful classic lash to my eyes...they are beautiful and not too much or over the top. They are my new salon since moving to Tampa. I HIGHLY recommend Le Salon Mia
